Limited food choices for an "All-inclusive" and limited bar choices as well with inconvenient hours for the snack bar. The snack bar lines were rediculously long on a daily basis (under-staffed) and drop-dead time cutoff for the snack bar left my friend without food after I was the last person served. I had to share my burger as the chef refused to sevre my friend!

hotel is in an OK area wouldn't walk alone there. hotel needs lots of improvements. There were bugs in the room, shower not working, light bulbs not replaced. Food is terrible even the bread taste like cardboard. Staff is ok they help you at there pace.

On Saturday I couldnt use the pool nor go to the beach because the hotel didn't have any towels available. I went 3-4 times to the reception desk and they didn't have towels. Also, the food selection was limited with poor tasting.

The only negative thing I can say. Is that the night was closed the whole time we were there. But other than that it was nice

We booked this hotel because of the location right on the beach. Our room was spacious with amazing sea view . The checkin was a bit chaotic, a big national holiday weekend meant that a lot of locals with big families were staying at hotel. Check in time was 15hr but we had to wait for an extra half our to gain entry. The guy in reception was super nice and it was not a big issue. The fool at the hotel is very average and I would recommend eating in the restaurant on the pier. You have to pay there though the hotel is all inclusive but I would highly recommend it. The area around the hotel is full of bars frequented by local people. It gets extremely noisy at night and there are hoards of drunk people everywhere . Plastic bottles, rubbish of all kind is thrown everywhere and the whole beach is covered in litter in the morning, quite shocking. If you want a beach holiday I would probably recommend that you go further away from the capital but if you want to get drunk and don’t mind rowdy people around maybe you would enjoy it.

I will not come back to this hotel anymore, the food was awful. I had diarrhea. I have to ask for towels everyday. The front desk people was super nice Mr. Wade was so nice and professional kuddo to him. Why inclusive when the food is awful .

StAff was very nice and pleasant. The yoga team kept us in involved and great atmosphere. The pool was dirty. Needed to be clean. The food could of been better

this place should be condemned...its a dump. hotel is old, rooms are dirty and walls so thin you can hear neighbors 3 rooms down. worst thing is the dogs roaming around the property freely...they attacked two kids while we there knocking one to the ground and eating his take out food. they nipped my friend as they were walking by. the security guards just shooed them away. I told the front manager Angel about it the next day and he laughed right in my face when I told him about the dogs. we left after one night. disgusting property.

Only thing I liked is that it was close to the airport we needed to go and the on beach massage. Horrible bedroom condition. So many things broken in the room. The staff is very demotivated. They say because the are under paid. Very bad hygiene. Staff people eat from the snackbar bin, and touch the food with their bare hands and continue to serve people from the same bin. Almost everything was pork, so I had limited options for eating. (I don't eat pork) The drinks were ok. Very crowded with locals visiting the beach. On site massage on the beach

We only stood one night so it was ok for one night. I would not have stayed any longer than that. I have to say that Amado staff member was friendly cordial helpful And accommodating. There were 3 of us and we all wanted separate beds, Indiana the staff at front desk was willing to accommodate us and sent Amado to show us another room that had 3 beds and the one that I reserved. When he showed us our room Which was really big but with only 2 beds and we suggested to him that if it was possible to get a cot or a small bed and by dinner time the twin size mattresses were in our room. Again for only 1 night this hotel served its purpose the hotel needs upgrade for such a beautiful location. the food was not hot the coffee was cold. Although the staff was always attentive at the buffet. Upon checking in Amado carried all 5 suitcases himself in two trips up 5 flights. And when checking out he also did the same with no complaints and very friendly. Would I return maybe but just for the day. Hotel has potential with the right upgrades

Great location. Right on the beach. Good selection of food at the buffet, with good service. Problems with our room keys malfunctioning and locking us out....quickly taken care of, but it meant returning to front desk repeatedly during our stay. All staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was old mattresses had was torn. The shower head was off. The room air conditioner didn’t work I requested for someone to look at it twice they never came. It took two days for my towels the housekeeper clean my room took the towels asked for / days for new towels. The food was cold the service at the food area was nice. The ceiling fan was broken showing the wiring The lamps on the wall exposed wiring. You go to the beach every person is trying to sell you something all at the same time wearing mask so you can’t identify them. Five or six people come up to you at once begging when you say no they keep on I stayed in my dirty room more than anything due to feeling uncomfortable and unsafe. The souvenir store the man is going to try and over charge he doesn’t know what the price but come up with a total for items. They had big roaches at the front entrance then when you walk out the front entrance they don’t have it locked anyone can walk into the property. The security was in the morning at the parking lot by evening you cannot leave the room it feels unsafe. Then I paid for a ocean view balcony and mind you I paid for 2 rooms over $1,000 and my view was the top of the roof of the restaurant. When I asked about the ocean view rep said he doesn’t speak English. All of them there are get overs. Never again will I visit whala boca chica.

Poor maintenance, poor service . The food it was disgusting. We had to buy food for the kids daily. No recommend it for anybody. Awful, period.

You get what you pay for. If you are looking for a relaxing time, this is not your hotel. First, check in was HORRIBLE! Long wait time and the staff is trying to multitask and paying you no mind. Second, the beach is not private so you will see pretty much anyone (dogs, homeless, etc). Third, foo selection was very basic and first come first served. They only make a certain amount and once that’s done, it’s done. They don’t really refill.

It was the most non customer friendly place that I have ever stayed. Nothing but issues for the entire trip. The mold inside the air conditioning system made us sick after the first night. The stay was not only ruined by becoming sick, but also by the non professional hotel staff which made us well aware that things would be done the way the hotel wanted and we did not matter.

The cleaning personal. I was stolen Money by the cleaning Personal over $ 150.00 American Dollars. While My Room was been cleaned, I reported the incident and Nothing was Done. Unsafe Place to stay for vacación. Whala Boca Chica

I will not write much because I knew it was a cheap stay However wow this place needs a seriously major renovation….

I usually do not like to post negative reviews however, my family and I had a horrible time. The food was not good. There were not enough plates, cups or utensils for everyone. There was a chef making burgers by the pool bar having the locals cut the line just because. Our room was never clean. There were no top shelve liquor everything was one generic brand that was watered down.

More then anything it wasn’t the hotel fault because the staff was amazing, it was going out to sit on the beach and every 5 minutes someone approach you asking if you want to buy this or do you want a massage. After the 5th time I just stayed off the beach but the hotel was good

The food was awful, awful, awful, only the made to order pasta and omelettes are good. The bar doesn’t serve wine (only at meals). Aside from the beer, the mixed drinks are horrible, they use very sweet mixers , nothing fresh, and very little alcohol. We couldn’t wait to get out of there.
