This was the oddest and most vaguely described anticipated experience. I literally never even saw anyone at the front desk ever. No one responded to my texts from either of the phone numbers. The towels provided had so many holes in them that they were useless! We checked out early and got a different hotel. The strangest place on earth masquerading as a hotel when it’s a hostel!

There were only 2 remotes to the TVs one of the bedrooms TV didn’t have a remote. Both of the showers water were cold, the water never got hot. Also when we left we were putting the luggage in the car. We left a piece of luggage in the lobby trying to load the car but we thought we could get back in the lobby but we couldn’t and had to call the 24 hour customer service and we could not get through. It was terrible. And the other pool was too far.

This is one of those self service “unattended” hotels. Not even sure if it qualifies as a hotel. Our room was decent. They were recently renovated within the last few years. Our room was right on the street so it was fairly noisy both from street traffic and people entering. There is a rooftop area but it’s only a place used to go smoke weed. It’s convenient if you are attending a meeting at the convention center. It’s a 15 minute walk to Canal street. Several restaurants are close by.

The window curtain was on the floor when I arrived. I asked that it be placed and the employee told me not to touch it once set. I didn’t, and the it fell off at around 3 am, making a loud noise and almost giving me a heart attack. There was a street lamp across the street that kept me wide awake. I requested at around 7 am that the curtain be fixed, again, and it was. No one ever came to clean my room, so I took out the garbage twice. I did appreciate having a trash room nearby. The bed was very low, so it was uncomfortable to sit to work (no desk available). The Wi-Fi was spotty late at night but I managed to get my work done. The vanity in the bathroom area was rusty. There’s a proper coffee machine but there was a dirty coffee mug from the previous client that housekeeping missed. The shower had a good stream of hot water within seconds- probably the best part about this facility.

I had a wonderful stay at the Roami. I thought it was quite clever to have concierge so easily accessible. The room was so cute and cozy. The interiors made the room feel moody and welcoming at the same time. I would definitely recommend and will be back.

There is an app that lets you pay online with a card and license plate number and state of issue
2 Hr & 45 minutes max
May also have a day pass as well

I chose this location because of how close it is to the cruise terminal. It is literally right around the corner. Once we figured out the parking situation, everything else was a breeze. We stayed for 2 days on the third floor and we could see our car in the parking lot directly behind the building. I think it was about $30-$40 a day for parking in this lot. Street parking is hard to get and you definitely don't want to take a chance on getting a ticket or boot on your car. Our unit had 3 bedrooms and was very spacious for our family. We loved the decor, the apartment layout, and the ease of access to the building. There are smart TVs in the living room and in each one of the bedrooms. There are two really fancy looking bathrooms that make you want to take selfies all day. I loved the fact that they had extra towels and toiletries on the first floor near the elevators. If we needed anything, we could just grab it as we were heading back up to the room. I would definitely recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again.

The room was nice and tidy. However, there were no towels in our room or at the “self-serve” area. We had to grab an extra top sheet and dry off with that after a shower. There were aunts crawling in our bathroom counter and also on the bed.

Had no clue it was self check in… perhaps an oversight on my end. However, getting through to virtual assistants was a disaster!! Also, no vending machines, nowhere to get water or ice…? No real on location support after 7pm…. Not sure I would book here again. Good for people who will be in and out often throughout the day exploring. Pretty unenjoyable otherwise.

The smell as you enter the room hits you strongly. There was no air circulation.
The room was well furnished and nice. But for the smell it was a good property.

Good place to stay.

Locations was perfect but the housekeeping part was a missed. Also, room 211 needs a new mattress. Mattress sinks in the middle. Which made sleeping difficult. Over all I will book again!

The room was super nice , bed was comfortable and location was ideal . What was not ideal however, was the parking situation and no easy way to get luggage up to your room. The lift was broken for the luggage cart so we had to pick the cart up a flight of stairs ( not fun) . We were able to park our car behind the building for $42 per day but you can’t go out the back entrance to load your luggage in your car so you had to carry it and walk around the building . We had a lot so this wasn’t very accommodating . Probably wouldn’t stay here again for this reason alone .

Wonderful place to stay… Couldn’t get housekeeping to get me a coffee pot for four days. But may do with hot water on the stove. This place really was immaculate and price wonderfully. Beware… Parking is over $40 per night. I should have read the fine print. Easy access beautiful building everything is modern. But there’s no full-time employee working at this building. You have to text or call them if you need anything. Rooftop area was really cool and the rooms are spacious and really nice. Huge showers and wonderful bathrooms and kitchen appliances… Except for the coffee pot that I’m still waiting to hear back on.

One of the worst hotel stays I've had in New Orleans.
There is a lot of confusion about the name of this place, it still has some signage that says Sexton, the door mats all say The Lola, and only on the entrance doors are the words Roami.
First of all, this is a No Service hotel, there are no staff at the counter any time during the day. The instructions they email you a day before your stay says there is a "virtual concierge" at the front desk, if there was one, it did not work. The number they have you call, you have to leave a voicemail. There is no housekeeping service at all, I had to chase down a houskeeper for towels for my 4 night stay. Their "valet service" is contracted through a local garage, I was told to wait 45 minutes - 1 hour or park myself.
There are no food/drink vending or ice machines on this property at all.
This property is not handicap accessible. The only entrance has stairs to the lobby, there is/was a lift, but it is broken. Be prepared to haul your luggage up steps.
The overall property looks ok, pretty well kept. They have a bar in the lobby, for what purpose, I do not know, it's not stocked/staffed or open.
The room I was in looked nothing like the photos posted. These must be suite rooms. My room was a studio with a divider for the "bathroom" area. Everything in this room looked like it was supposed to be boutique, but was all older and damaged. There was dried blood on the wall, and leftover items from a previous guest.

Great place to stay near the convention center. Spacious rooms with a full kitchen.
The airline changed my flights to a day earlier and it was easy and reasonable to add an extra day to my stay.

We loved the layout and location. But this was overshadowed by the noise from adjacent units. It sounded like they were in our unit with us. The place was dusty both floors and counters.

Let's just say I opened an account with Roami and will be using it again and again every time I visit New Orleans. Our stay was impeccable. The space, amenities, location, everything was great.

This space was perfect for us and the value was unbelievable. We traveled with our two young children while my husband had a conference. While it was a bit of a walk to some of our destinations, it was a safe and easy one.

Walking distance to Convention Center. A bit of a walk to dining and entertainment. Parking was expensive, though it was convenient. Coffe pot was missing, but the room had a french press. All in all, a very nice stay!

Very spacious apartment, well equipped. Overall level of maintenance was so-so, but sufficient for a friends' get-together in NOLA. I would book it again.

This was a pleasure to stay here. It was exactly what it was listed as and then some. The place was always clean (other than my coffee pot). I had a nice open plan and the room was ready and Wi-Fi worked perfectly. I used The net flix and had the comfort of fresh bedding and clean towels. One downside was the windows don’t open and it felt a bit musty to me. Not sure if it’s the water from the shower or just that it gets zero cross breeze. Over all this is a great value for the area and I would stay again.

It has more space than a regular hotel room. But the noisy level was not acceptable. The noise from Fan/AC/Heater was very loud, on top of that the noise from the street was terrible. I felt like I was sleeping on the street. I stayed three nights and I did sleep at all for all three nights. I asked them to change my room the first night, but have not heard anything from them.
Also, found that the bed frame was broken and asked t hem to contact me before they come to fix it, but they walked in when we are doing something, so we fixed temporarily by ourself and there was stain in the bedroom furniture. I did not even complain for that.
The shampoo and conditioners were very poor quality, damaged my hair so bad. After using two times, I needed to buy my own shampoo and conditioners.
Overall it was worse hotel ever, I will go back to the Hilton.. Hope no one else has this experience while they stay any hotel.

Checked in and AC did not work. The room was 84 degrees. Although fans were brought to the room and we were moved the next day. We were moved into a room where the toilet didn’t work nor did we have towels. We requested towels and was told it would take 24 to get towels. Upon checkout I requested a late checkout and was told I’d be charged an extra 100 dollars. The property could really be great if it had 24 hour staff on hand. I do commend the maintenance guy that came and tried to fix the AC and had it not been for him we’d probably been stuck in the same room. I hope things get better because this place could be a really good place to stay.
