The location is really close to the main beach, within a minute or two walking. The inn itself also has a lovely courtyard area that has a great vibe. My room was really comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. I even stayed an extra night beyond what I booked since I enjoyed it so much. The owners were also so kind and helpful, answering lots of my questions and going above and beyond--I will definitely stay again!

This is pretty minor, but the fridge in my room was really dirty and had a bad smell. The rest of the facilities were clean and well looked after. There are also monkeys out on the balcony sometimes, which for me was a plus but for others might not be!

The staff is very helpful especially Nadee, the location is 2 minutes away from the beach and near the restaurants. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. The wifi was also good.

This place was amazing. Clean and comfort is in top level..super friendly staff..best thing is you can sleep very calm without any disturbance because of the hotel is in little away from the beach.but when you go to the beach can walk with in one minute..every thing in walking distance like beach , super market, bar , resturant…if you like you can get a nice breakfast for fair price from the hotel.

Staff are really friendly and nice! perfect location, away from main road, but still close to the beach and markets. Room was clean and quite spacious.

Booked 3 nights, ended up staying whole week. We loved the location, while still very quiet. Tasty breakfast, if you are lucky, you can observe monkeys jumping over during early morning. Lovely guys taking care of the place are very helpful, we're able to advise on trips around, book tuk tuks or even taxi when trip to airport seems a challenge (diesel issues). Even after one of us got sick, they were very understanding and supportive despite insecurity of the situation. We expected a net around bed, it was not there. Maybe a suggestion for improvement :)

Great location that is close to the beach, tucked away in where the locals live giving you a sense of every day life. Spacious room and comfortable bed.

There was no barrier between the shower and the toilet so if not careful you could get the bathroom floor wet

good location. nice balcony overlooking the nice garden. very nice staff. the beds were comfortable and the room had a fridge, hairdryer etc. The double bed also had a mosquito net which was appreciated

the entire bathroom floor got wet when you showered. the water pressure in the shower upstairs could have been better. the single bed had no mosquito net which would have been a plus, but overall a good stay!

Very hospitable, kind and attentive personnel, tasty breakfasts, especially Sri Lankan breakfast (spicy), clean and comfortable room with A/C, hot water and a balcony. Very close to the beach but aside of the main road and this is actually a big advantage because of the absence of the road noise and dirt and because of the closeness to wilder nature (we met monkeys, peacocks, heard lots of birds etc.). The hotel is clean and fresh, mattress was comfortable, a lot of cafes and transport around. Pleasant atmosphere and chill.

Comfortable but basic accomodation, very good for price point.

I travelled together with two friends to Mirissa. Our trip was planned with 3 weeks. After one week we searched for a Hostel/Hotel in Mirissa. The guy from Hotel was very very friendly and we have seen our room and were happy. Nice place here including very Good Breakfast! Thank you very much for this stay!

I loved everything about the Celestial Inn. This is my third time staying here and I'm never disappointed. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and humble. The garden is well kept and is quite peaceful early in the morning.

Quiet localisation only 100 meters from the beach, very friendly staff. The owners are very helpfull, for example if you need to change money or rent a motorbike. On the terrace, while drinking coffe,you hear sounds of nature, can see peacoks or monkeys. The rooms are big.

Happily I could stay two nights with so discounted price, the room was so clean and the bed was so comfortable. Location is also so nice to reach the beach. Staff was so kind and smart to welcome the guest.

Not specially but if it has hot water shower, staying will be more comfortable. Also in the morning, neighbor residents(?)' voices and sweeping sound with a broom were a little bit noisy and disturbing for oversleeping in the early morning.

Very nice place,big comfy bed with mosquito net, and great air con or fan...nice terrace to sit out on..lots of animals, birds, squirrels and of course those rascal monkeys! Do not leave anything out or it will be gone or ruined!loved big Murphy the dog...so sweet! The staff are all very nice and helpful too! Tea and coffee was nice to have in the room...

Our wifi was not good in our room, but outside on the terrace it was better, a little fridge would be nice to have to keep water cold....just a suggestion...

Celestial Inn was in really quiet area, but just 2 mins from the beach, 5 minutes from the supermarket and lots of restaurants. Breakfast was given in the garden and absolutely fresh- fruits, yoghurt,toasts with eggs and some special pastry for children(really appreciated:-).The room was spacious, extremely comfy beds and clean, incl. bathroom. Perfect balcony with sitting area for evening parties with friends, After the check out, kind staff offered us the bathroom for having a shower before journey to the airport. We are looking forward returning back next year !!!

Monkeys didn´t come to the garden every day - children ( and us as well:-) loved them. Honestly, nothing to complain about !!

Everything is perfect, the location in quite area, but 3mins from the beach. Excellent breakfast incl. Monkey show in the garden😉
