No hot water and the toilet didn’t flush! It took several hours for the maintenance person to show up, it wasn’t fixed for the time we stayed. Total disappointment%!

I wasn't very happy that we were not told that they do not do daily housekeeping. I believe that should have been mentioned when we check-in. When I informed that about it the response was that in was in the welcome package. When they gave us the welcome package, the reception noted certain items on the welcome package such as the yoga and internet but not about "new" housekeeping rules. Also, everytime we have stayed in here, we seem to always be put by the ice machine which is a bit noisy. La Casa Del Zorro is not as good as it used to be.

Beautiful tranquil property. Pools were warm, rooms were nice, breakfast at the restaurant was good. They found an item my son left and are shipping it to us.

The property is beautiful.

The restaurant was short staffed making the wait for a table long although there were not many people dining.

The shower head hand held could be better quality. One of the casetas bathroom , shower area had mold on the shower floor all around.

I love the fact that this property is very quiet and spacious. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and spend time away from home. Personally my favorite part is being able to enjoy the amenities provided. So many sports to play and activities to do. I also had nothing but great things to say about the check in process and staff. I would rate this property an 8/10. The only issue I had was that the outside furniture and seating areas around our casita had a lot of cobwebs and debris on them. We were hesitant to sit on anything without feeling dirty and like there were bugs crawling on us. Unfortunately I also got stung by a bee while enjoying the pool. Lots of bees, wasps, and tiny flies hanging around our private pool. Despite the issues, I would still come back and give it another chance.

Really great resort in Borrego Springs, good amenities, nice staff. We were a room upgrade, which was really nice. Would stay there again.

The pools are just deciration, the water is very cold.
It is unbelievable that a hotel of that prices does not have daily room cleaning. Regretable.
Also for saturday night they charged 314.11 USD!!! The other three nights 209.80 USD. An abuse in my opinion

The staff was excellent. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The restaurant food was top notch. Unfortunately the pools had lots of dead bugs/flies and the pool water by the fitness center had an unappealing greenish appearance which was out of character with the rest of the resort. Overall the facility had a lot to offer.

Breakfast place wasn't open, I guess pre busy season. They have a snack place but very limited so we drove into town several times. The pool was heated but allot of bugs.

Beautiful hotel. Dinner at the resort was amazing.

Nice stay. The property seems a bit dated, but we enjoyed the calmness and desert views. Stargazing at night was very nice. We enjoyed the lap pool, spa and restaurant. Service at the restaurant and bar was a bit slow, but the staff was friendly and the food and drinks were good.
They also had giant outdoor shuffleboard and chess. We did not do these as the weather was hot when we went. The massage at the spa was great.

We loved that this hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere, but they have the best services and everything you could possibly need!

I went to see the stargazing show and wasn’t let down. I needed it to be dark and the skylight delivered. I’m not fond of the heat so much but it didn’t bother me much either.

Although the trip was fantastic, there seems to be alot of miscommunication between management and its staff. My girl and I stayed for one night, Jake was amazing to extend our check out time since we arrived late. My girl then surprised me with a second night, and then calls began between front desk and our room about having to see the payment card again and again since it was a new name on the reservation. Yes it was very annoying but overall we had a great stay.

I stayed at this hotel a few months ago and had a wonderful time, so we were excited to come back. Much to our dismay, this time was VERY different. For the same price as the last time I was given a considerably smaller room with no updates. The toilet seat was falling off, wallpaper peeling off the walls, filthy scuffed and damaged door (on the inside), dirty floors, a tv that didn’t work and crickets on the floor and in the ceiling beams making tons of noise. I immediately let them know and was told I could switch in the morning. Despite going to the front desk shortly after they opened at 7am, I didn’t get a new room until noon and my family was unable to unpack or relax. The pools were full of bugs, I killed multiple crickets and cockroaches during my stay, the restaurant is extremely overpriced, AND they charged the full amount of my stay hours before I even arrived to the hotel (despite telling me I would pay at the hotel and if I canceled or didn’t show I would be charged for one night only). They agreed to then refund me the amount and charge me almost double because of the “rate change” between Hotels.com and their own rates. We will not be returning and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s run like a cheap motel.

I loved having a private outdoor jacuzzi! The resort way fairly empty so I felt very serene and private. The pool was great and the massage I got was divine

We really enjoyed the serenity of the property. Im sure the resort is busy during the winter but we enjoyed the slow pace of the summer season a lot. A special recognition to Kim, the bartender at Fox Den. She was a pleasure to meet and is an excellent representation of the resort's amenities.

The stay at this property was very relaxing/quiet. Stargazing theater was a highlight for my family and I. We loved the food at Fox Den and at the surrounding small restaurants in Borrego Springs. Thank you for an amazing few days.

It was a business trip in the Borrego Springs area and stayed in La Casa along with my team from work. Stayed two nights between 9 pm and 6 am, so did not get a chance to enjoy day-time amenities. The staff was very nice. The room was big, clean, nice and had great sleep and shower. I would go go back to La Casa if I visit Borrego Springs.

Best spot in the desert! Lots of pools, well maintained.

Our first stay here was fabulous. The facilities are well kept, beautiful rooms, very spacious. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and gorgeous, flowers and cactus are beautiful. Jill at the restaurant and Irene were the perfect host and waitress. The opportunity to jump in any number of swimming pools is a real treat. How many resorts have a lap pool. We loved this place and will be back again. Thank you!

No housekeeping. Second floor rooms: there are no elevators.
There was a planned overnight power outage for the entire town of Borrego Springs, but the resort did not inform us in advance. We were provided a flashlight - that's it. Not even a drink voucher to compensate.
