Fast & easy check-in and out. Great value for the cost in our handicap first floor room. The open edge shower, however, is designed poorly and water was out onto the large bathroom floor immediately. Room wonderfully spacious. Decent breakfast selection and clean dining area.

The location was good, at the northern end of Bakersfield. The staff were good, I had no negative or off putting interactions with them. They quickly addressed an issue regarding a very noisy person next to my room. The negative is while I had prepaid they charged me again and didn't check me out and charged me for that day. I discovered this when I got home. I spoke to the manager and he immediately apologized and addressed the problem. I expect this was an anomaly. I was very happy with how quick and responsive the manager was in addressing this. One phone call was all it took. He did what he said he would do and within the time frame he had stated. I would stay there again.

The first night the whole hallway to our room smelled like marijuana. Other than that our stay was great.

This hotel was awful and treats their customers just as awful. The steam from their shower set off the smoke alarm at around 10am. We were accused of smoking in the room even though we don’t smoke and were told if it happens again we would be evicted. Then at 2am an angry woman named Denise, woke us up pounding on the our door saying she is the manager, we set the alarm off, we needed to leave, and she charged my card $265 for incidentals. She then told me that I need to go to the front desk, where she proceeded to yell at me across the lobby at 2am and she continued to yell even as I was getting on the elevator to leave. I stated that I did not hear an alarm going off and my husband and I were both sleeping there is no way we could set off the alarm. Denise said we didn’t hear anything because she turned the alarm off before it could be heard. There were no concerns for anyone’s safety which is terrifying if a fire alarm is going off. The next morning I waited several hours for the real manager arrived, I was told there was no alarm and the horrendous tyrant who woke us made a mistake. I refused to stay another day at this place and we cut our birthday trip 2 days short. I checked out 2 days ago and they still have a hold on my bank for almost triple the amount of the reservation. This hotel will literally bleed your bank account dry during your stay and will blame you for their computer/alarm errors.

We had a nice stay here. The service was very friendly! Bill has excellent customer service. We enjoyed the indoor pool & hot tub, as well as the free breakfast. We would definitely stay again.
