We have stayed at many hotels near a freeway but this was the loudest ever. It sounded like we left the window open. So hard to even hear the TV. We asked for a pet friendly room in case my daughter needed to bring her dog, which she didn’t, But the room smelled strongly of dog. The bed pillows also did not smell nice. The pillow cases seemed clean but the pillows themselves need a refresh. I tried misting with Downey fabric wrinkle reducer but it didn’t help. The property itself seems clean, our room was spacious, and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

This place is a dump.

We would have rated 5 overall but for two reasons. We had two rooms while we would rate them very high from cleanliness and non-smoking truly meant the air in the room is not stuffy, the head/cool in one room 402 was not working when you adjust the thermometer and the second suite 416 did not have eating table like 402. The staff was not there few times we went to ask question and our card was charged three times which took few days to be cleared. Staff was apologetic and wanted to give us discount for the confusion which we declined understanding that the charges will be reverted or dropped both of which happened but it took checking our card for few days. All said, we would use this facility again when in Lacey. It is very clean and close to Park & Ride if you don't want to drive or use Uber. The best experience so far when in Lacey.

My room had not been vacuumed but everything otherwise very nice. The exercise room extremely hot due to clothes dryers going I think

Honestly, the staff is what made this property. It was clean. It was way more of a room than I figured, complete with kitchenettes I wasn't expecting. Comfy beds. I called a few times before I arrived to make sure the multiple rooms we had were as expected. They were! Every interaction with the staff was pleasant and professional. I witnessed their interacting with multiple other guests, and each person was treated with such respect and courtesy. I was most impressed when a small child down the hall started crying, and the person behind the desk dropped everything and ran to assist!

Very comfortable accommodations with a friendly staff and all the “necessities” provided at NO additional cost. We were very pleased with the experience and would not hesitate to stay there again!

Had a great stay here! The room was super quiet, considering we were facing the I5. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Room was large, and adequately stocked with all your kitchen needs! Highly recommend, would stay here again

I was traveling alone with heavy suitcases and no transportation. I would have liked a place to eat or close by the hotel. I am not certain about the ecological piece. Was the TP bamboo? It is a specific type of hotel, probably intended for a longer stay than my one night stay, with everything necessary to eat in. I can see that for a family it would be a great place to stay.

Loved that the kitchen was comple with cookware. Everything was clean. Will definitely stay again.

This is the only hotel I use when in Washington because it is clean, safe for a traveling woman, conveniently located and provides the kitchen I need.

I have never stayed in a hotel more comfortable and peaceful than Candlewood in Lacey, I have virtually no complaints. Staff are excellent, room quality is excellent, state of the art work out facilities, free laundry, rooms super clean and modern, location excellent. Will look for Candlewood in the future when traveling!

Pet friendly but the people allow their dogs to poop on the side walks and parking lot. It doesn’t get cleaned. Once a week isn’t enough to clean a room w two people and a baby. Also, it smells so bad of marijuana in the entire building

Part of a stay to visit with family. Very nice rooms with comfy beds and pillows!

Was very clean, just had trouble with some internal features with the sink stopper not working and the t.v. difficult to turn on and use the remote.

Likes: Rooms are big and clean. Helpful staff, especially maintenance man George. Convenient location. Dislikes: We stayed 5 days, and our room was never cleaned. Had to go to front desk to get more coffee and toilet paper.

Had a wonderful stay. Great front staff and hotel took into account my special request and delivered on it perfectly. The only drawback was the pet walking area which had a lot of litter in it.

This was the 2nd time I stayed at the Candlewood Inn and was totally pleased with my room and the hotel staff again.

They accidently charged me an extra night but they were swift in rescinding the action after I had made a phone call

Am handicapped & use a powerchair. Room door is super hard to push & pull open; no instructions on how to use tv & remote or a listing of channels & managed to put tv in "snow" mode & staff had to come fix & explain how to use remote; thermostat control on wall vs the unit & where on wall was hard to access from powerchair & again, no instructions on how to use; shower had no ledge to place any of my toiletries & the pumping station for soap, shampoo, & conditioner awkward & hard to use because too high up from sitting position; shower bench collapsed while taking a shower & I had a hard time pulling myself up from the low position & no emergency cord to pull for help; bed so high I couldn't get on it (even used my powerchair to try to use as a leverage point & no go); I had to leave since couldn't use bed & no offer for even a partial refund & have to wait for a call from manager as I asked since not offered. My stay was to be a get away from my non-ada compliant apt & super disappointed with experience & if no partial refund a complete waste of $100

Friendly and prompt check in. Got us in a couple hours early, hotel able to accommodate. Very simple room with full fridge and Mini kitchen. No table or desk to eat. Oh well. We stayed 1 week, maid service was done weekly as explained. Laundry downstairs was fine. This hotel is pet friendly , so watch your step, If no pets, request non pet floor. We were placed on 3rd floor full of animals. I broke out in hives and was itchy entire week. Never again! Price is right, easy access, to restaurants and shopping, I would stay again on a non pet floor-

The hotel was great, large clean rooms, friendly staff, we got much more than expected..in a good way. Will make this a regular stop. Lots of food options nearby. Great value.

The only thing we found fault with was the awful awful coffee, and the bathroom door was problematic with latching. And the take away breakfast was laughable....an apple, apple juice, and an apple nutrigrain bar. We went to McDonald's instead. Other than that, our stay was great as we prepped to move back into our home. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Clean rooms, full kitchen and nice staff. The only thing I didn't like was the toilet was way to close to the sink.

Property was very much acceptable, Expedia didn’t have our reservation communicated to the hotel, the front desk staff did great working with us to correct the mistake.

Was very clean. Staff was nice. They had everything you need if you want to eat there with family, stove and full size fridge in the room. Even a crockpot at the front desk, impressive! Only inconvenient it's the location; it's a bit of a walk to reach anything. Almost need a car.
