Bathtub had seen better days & toilet was wobbly and you had to hold the handle down to get it to flush. The hot tub was barely warm, the steam room wasn't working at all, the light was not working in the women's change room and the pool area was closed by 7 p.m.

Nice location, staff welcoming
But my room was in between other rooms that were from the same family, and the people were communicating on shouts all over the place until late at night.
I would have preferred to be in a room quiet and away from the people.

Everything was pleasant, it was a beautiful property and the rooms were nice and also clean only complaint , not enough pillows

A nice place to stay. Made use of the indoor pool. Convenient location. A bit outside the hub of the city, but within walking distance. It was clean and worth the money.

Friendly staff and nice clean rooms.

The resort itself is nice because of the land - however none of the amenities mentioned were available.
There is no pub and no restaurant even though listing mentions 2 different pubs/restaurants. There are no food delivery services like Uber that will come to location for delivery. I couldn’t find the pool table that was mentioned that they have either.
The tennis court is in rough shape with grass coming through the concrete. The free breakfast is just bread with butter/jam/peanut butter, cereal, muffins, and two types of cereal - that’s it - and only open 8-9:30 am.
There is also no microwave in the rooms or sofa - just two chairs and a table.
The beds aren’t terrible but only one pillow is given for each person and the pillows are so flat - definitely ask for at least two each person.
The rooms are right next to each other and you can hear your neighbours- not great for privacy.
Basically the place has tons of potential but it has a run-down look. It’s a 3/5 hotel. Wasn’t much of a “Resort” although I’m not sure how it looks at a busier time of year.

This resort has been around for a long time. It is still in business because it offers good value for the price. I hope to return and spend more than one night.

The key points about our disappointing stay are
1 on arrival reception representative not helpful in answering questions about area - had to ask him to put his phone down and come over to counter to speak to us
2. Breakfast the worst I have ever experienced, room filthy with cobwebs and dirty tables, we were the only persons in the breakfast room so hardly a high demand on staff
3. Spoke to some guys who had belongings taken from room, I do not know what happened in follow up but glad to be leaving after 1 night
This could be a great place but the staff/owner have no idea on how to run a property- a great shame as it has potential

Adequate accommodations. Away from road traffic so it was quiet.

Very old and outdated. Bare minimum in terms of cleanliness and comfort. The room did the job but nothing more. Would not stay here again.

The property is not maintained. We were suppose to have a jacuzzi tube but it didn't work fireplace didn't work toilet bowl was dirty and the carpet was dirty and smelled. Free breakfast consisted of dollar store muffins cold cereal or toast. If I was Expedia I would remove them from your list

I walked into the lobby and went into the “gift shop”. Smelled like a dog had been deficating in there for years.
Because they wouldn’t check me in before 3, I went back an hour later to check in and the rest of the lobby smelled the same, just as strong as the gift shop.
I used to drop passengers off at this hotel for a bus company I used to drive for and boy oh boy… this place has DECLINED post pandemic, badly.

Check in was super easy, guy at the desk knew exactly what he needed to do, we got our keys and went to our room.
Now to be clear I have a child who is ADHD and GAD and is on the autism scale!
Walk in and all you can smell is mold, no AC on, no cracked window, dust on everything! So we left the room door open and opened the window a half hour later no change. Even with the breeze tunneling threw the room. On top on that the 2 maybe 3 year old in the next room has not stopped screaming!
We couldn't handle the smell of the room we felt defeated
I go to the front desk explain that the room is to over powering and we would like a refund, the guy starts to explain that it's and old building, so I explained that we tryed to air it out and on top of this little man in the next room screaming and crying I would just like a refund and I'll leave.
The mother of the child is behind me and starts screaming at me! The man offered another room with a can of air freshener, I said I wanted to leave, can't use the facilities when being attacked! They upgraded us to another stinky room and at this point I'm just ready to cry! My husband agrees to take the room and leave all the windows open all night not that I slept much. What a waste of time and money...
We could not use any of the facilities no have our "included breakfast" for 200$! Should have just stayed at home!

Rooms were clean, plenty of towels, friendly check-in and checkout. Many cigarette butts on the ground and people had thrown candy wrappers and potato chip bags on ground that were left there all weekend. Breakfast was fine with coffee, juice, toast and muffins. Easy to locate. Comfortable bed. Gas fireplace was a treat.

About the property ..
Things i hated ..
^^ there were bed bugs.. couldnt sleep because of that.
1. Weird smell in the rooms because of old carpets floor compensated by room sprày.
2. Cofee- tea sachets section was inside the bathroom in one corner of the sink .
3. Not enough parking for few rooms if fully occupied.
Things i liked :
1. overall look of the property.
2. Breakfast was fresh .
3. There was a accessible pool.
When told about the problem with the bedbugs to the attendent his reply was you booked through expedia you have to talk with them . A little rough i suppose . At the same time they showed us 3 rooms to sellect which 1 we liked so thats a little plus on staffs side

Our experience was terrible from the moment we got there. Not only was the floor in our room on a slant, which was not that big of a deal, but the first obvious problem was that the door would not close fully… not only could you see light coming through, but a fly flew in through this huge gap that was open to the outdoors!! The floor in the room was dirty and when I lifted up the bedding, which did not even have a fitted sheet, there was hair all over the bed and it looked like it had not been cleaned. The air conditioner was filthy and the windows seemed to have single panes and did not lock properly. There was a very strange brown stain splattered on the wall, and it looked like blood stains on the white portion of the bedskirt. The coffee station was in the washroom -gross- we did not even bring in any of our belongings, but went right back to the front desk. We were told by the front desk we had to deal with Expedia to cancel and be refunded but Expedia let us know this morning that the hotel manager would not agree to a refund because it is not in their policy. We will definitely will be looking into this matter further with public health and the Better Business Bureau so other customers can be saved from the disappointment and inconvenience we have had to deal with. Front desk staff seemed to care less and after reading other reviews about bedbugs, disgusting conditions and rude staff we are clearly not the only ones being taken advantage of here.

I was in room 35. The people from room 34 were using the chairs in front of my window the entire evening. I tried to close the wi Dow but it was stuck and I was afraid of breaking the window. I have been visiting off and on for 25-30 years. I will never go back.
