We had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The beach chairs and towels were appreciated. The stairs are extremely steep but we managed them. We enjoyed coffee on the porch each morning. This upstairs apartment is just around the corner from the main street of Ocean Grove and a few blocks from the beach.

Nice place, great location, exceeded expectations

We came with our 9 month old for a short shore weekend. We really enjoyed our stay. The home and surrounding areas are beautiful, walking distance to shops and restaurants, and quiet. There is only street parking which was worrisome at first but we never had a problem finding a spot close by or even right in front of the home, perhaps due to the chilly weather that weekend. If the weather was nicer we would’ve loved to spend more time on the beautiful wraparound balcony. The host was m very communicative beforehand and provided a baby gate when she learned we had a baby with us, which we appreciated. She was also accessible and in the area so if we had any issues we could bring them to her directly. The apartment was well-equipped for cooking and eating, and each room had appropriate fans and/or AC to cool as needed. The bed was comfortable, shower had hot water and was clean. We couldn’t get the TV to work but we just felt like streaming stuff on our laptop instead of bothering the host to figure that out. The only drawback of the stay was that the floors were not consistently clean, and we found areas where dust and debris had settled and we’re not swept or vacuumed up. We didn’t communicate this to the host, we just wore slippers and were diligent about where our little one crawled and what she touched or picked up. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated chatting with our kind host. We would return again or recommend this stay to others coming to the area.
