Before arriving, I had a handful of questions that the property owner quickly and graciously answered over email, even giving us recommendations on my husband's favorite dessert. Grassroots: truly the best ice cream around! We flew into NYC from North Carolina and drove up to the property. By the time we arrived, it was evening and we were bleary from the travel. A couple minutes fumbling to get our belongings inside, the property owner appeared with quiet grace and kindly helped us in. Such an angel. The unit was sensational. Clean, neat, inviting, large but cozy, and stylishly decorated. I was already thrilled but then, the pièce de résistance... robes! The robes, towels, bedding, pillows, and all linens were freshly laundered. You can tell the difference between those that are fresh and those that have been sitting in storage for a time (slightly stiff/stale). These were fluffy and smelled straight out of the dryer. I've stayed at many hotels, VRBOs, and AirB&Bs around the globe, but this really was a standout. Wifi was excellent. Streaming TV services were excellent. Small appliances were like new. Easiest access. A wonderful restaurant a short walk away (The Iron Rail). Great parking spot. Private porch with porch chairs. I mean, what more can I say? If my work brings me anywhere back to the county, I'll be booking this again. Thank you so, so much, Cass and Dawn! I hope to see you soon.

We arrived late after a long drive and the check-in process was seamless and easy. The reserved parking spot was a bonus being located near the entrance making unpacking quick and easy. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Everyone was really great and communicative. I had a last minute request to extend my stay and they made it work! The home is super cute, right next to the Green (full of shops), and all is cleanly and homey!

We had a great time here. The apartment was clean, cozy, and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable, and the towels and bathrobes even moreso. Hosts were very responsive and helpful!

Very nice. Kept up. Close to many things like The Elephant's Trunk and walking trails. Easy access to Litchfield and surrounding towns. Was better than staying at a hotel. Like home away from home.

I was visiting New Milford for two nights and this proved the perfect landing spot after a long drive and in advance of a longer drive back. Spotless inside and out and very quiet. It’s a fully furnished apartment with dedicated parking and simple and secure keyless entry. The hosts live on-site and inquires were almost instantly addressed. The unit is literally a long golf shot from the bustling downtown scene. Couldn’t have been happier with my stay!

This place is amazing and would highly recommend. Very bright, airy and wonderful to have balcony which we did use on the sunnier days. It was so relaxed and comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped with every utensil possible if you want to cook and lots of appliances. Also 5 minute walk to the centre where we visited the local library, lots of shops, bars, restaurants for breakfast lunch and dinner and a Cinema if you choose to watch a movie. The Green has a lot to offer with history, great to walk around and explore and a marina nearby with lots of trails and wine tours too. The owner was amazing very communicative and available if anything was needed. Another + was the rail train passing twice a day on your door step hooting his horn to make it safe to cross the track. We will definitely book this place again!
