Location was great (close to all wineries) & park where cottage was located was nice.

There was a bad foul smell coming from the bathroom the second we walked through the doors of the chalet/trailer. The smell stayed the whole duration of our stay. I slept in the bedroom beside the bathroom and woke up not feeling great (sinus problems & feverish). I messaged the owner the morning after coming back from our stay, less than 24 hours after leaving, to let them know of the foul smell & that there is a possibility of mold (smell similar to wet cardboard— professional told me that is exactly what mold smells like) & they proceeded to respond very inappropriately and shutting down the possibility of any issues. Stating “it was a resort problem that was resolved” as well as “maybe you had Covid “ and one of my guest and I are not “vaccinated” so that’s what I’m experiencing symptoms. No idea why Covid & being unvaccinated was even mentioned …entirely inappropriate if you ask me. Also, don’t know what issue was “resolved” as it hasn’t even been 24 hours since we have been back from the stay. I did not want to write a bad review as besides the fouls smell & poor response, it was a nice weekend away. I don’t write bad reviews but my goodness was the response an awful one & beyond insensitive.

The trailer was in a well kept park community and has a great deck.. it is also a convenient location to village of Niagara on the lake.

Nice with a pool - however, the larger pool was closed due to flooding.

There were no sheets for covers, no pillowcases. Key and wi-fi in cabin was not available right when we arrived.
