It was close to my son's university.
We over paid ($1000USD) to unknowingly stay in a student residence for four nights. The photos misrepresented the reality, there were missing amenities, (no dishwasher and broken bedroom blinds let the light in etc.) but mostly, when I voiced my concerns to MGM, they declined a discount but moments later, offered me a full refund if we left immediately. It was 1am and I was traveling with a woman in her 80s so that was a ridiculous suggestion and they knew we couldn't leave. Their customer service is terrible. Paying half that amount would have been reasonable especially since we were there during the off season.
