Location was okay, walkable to some restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

Upon walking in room smelled fishy, messaged staff and they came and sprayed some spray which only helped for about 20 minutes. Weren’t able to switch rooms so they offered to come clean the next day but asked us to be there from 12 until 3pm or take all valuables with us, which is then an extra inconvenience as we had laptops and cameras we would have had to carry around in the heat. Bed sheets were very old and bathroom constantly leaked so most of the floor was always soaking wet and hair in the drain. Worst of all, the main hall in the building is all tile so any small sound echos and is very loud. There is no “lobby” besides two random chairs placed directly outside our room. This meant that both nights AND mornings of our stay we were kept awake by people talking, yelling, moving all kinds of things around, making more noise than you can imagine. My partner had to go out multiple times and ask people to quiet down. Staff were kind and I know staff can only do so much but with the surplus of nice hotels in Penang I recommend you stay somewhere else.

3天了 還不退deposit rm50 又不是什麼星期6/日 也不回消息 去到酒店 還說我訂的是其他日期 無語 說給你名字了 msg也寫了 看不懂 她也不回覆 還好那邊有個工作人員 後來原來是她自己看錯名字 哇靠

To be honest I like everything about Luna hotel by Moonlight except few minor things. Spacious bedroom, spacious washroom, new bed and tv set. The parking space is available most of the time.

The transparent toilet door & window. And if there are people talking outside the room you can hear them chatting.
