location and the price in the day
SO much smoking outside - you need a smoking area

Good , but I had a window broke out of my truck while parked in lot , happened when security put drunk person out of hotel , hotel should have payed for my window 250 dollars instead payed out my pocket for hotels leaving drunk person in hotel
Rooms good food good

Breakfast is great but pricey. Beds were comfy. Staff friendly.
Homeless people staying at hotel. Smell of weed 24/7 inside the hotel. Homeless people gathered at entrance of hotel and smoking weed. Was an uncomfortable feeling in elevator and hallways with people staying there. Don't like they charge for parking either.

Room was good. Cleanliness was good.
Was expensive in comparison to places with better locations. It shows that there is a Starbucks on site which is not longer there. The photos of the Starbucks should be removed. Extra for parking is annoying. It would be nice if that was included in the price, especially during low season when there is a giant empty parking lot.

Location is fantastic.
Breakfast and coffee very overpriced.

Sadly there wasn’t much to like. Front desk staff was friendly enough.
We booked a room for 1 queen bed. When we got there it was 2 double beds. Not only that, but the floors in the entryway were sticky. We were also charged for parking which I’ve never paid for at any hotel and was not expecting to pay for. I stayed at a hotel the next night that was $45 cheaper and had a king bed with an ensuite. There was no parking charge either and in a more desirable location. The price was ridiculous for what we got.

The bed was very comfortable, the sheets and comforter were great! All of the staff were were very polite and good to deal with!
When I came in the room I found a pair of jeans in one of the drawers which made me feel as if the room wasnt looked over well. But I mentioned it to the cleaner and she was extremely nice and apologized! Also would have been nice if someone came in to clean the room without having to ask!

Staff very friendly, the room was nice and clean
Paid 4 star price to find out a bunch of the room are used to house homeless. Lots of people loitering in front of the hotel, in the lobby and in the halls. Elevators smelled of smoke.
Rooms should be cheaper considering this. Or at minimum people should be advised so it is not a suprise

Nice room
At first they put us next to the laundry which was very noisy. Moved to another room. Kids running in the halls at night. Location is next to bridge to Halifax lots of ambulance sirens at night. During check in front desk did not explain the extra $100 charge on my card until I went down to the front desk to ask why. The entrance way outside the front door was filthy with cigarette buts and someone had vomited. In all it was a very expensive stay and we did not feel that it justified the price. On our 14 day tour of Nova Scotia this hotel was the most disappointing.

Amazing beautiful hotel over looking the bridge great friendly staff and awesome location ten minute walk to the Alderberry ferry across to Halifax downtown.Pool was perfect temperature and work out room was fantastic, beds where extremely comfy wanted to take home the pillows.
For a four star hotel and price point of rooms local competitor Hotels offer free breakfast we where dispointed when we had to pay $40 for two plates of bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage and a coffee. If I would have known this I would have booked downtown Halifax.Room we where in had a great view of bridge although was noisy outside in which sounded like construction all night.Rooms are not sound proofed well and visible sounds could be heard through the walls.

The beds were very good. The staff was helpful.
1. It was a surprise to us that two floors of the hotel were used for homeless people and that they were using the customer elevator and reception to walk through to then go and sit at the dedicated customer seating right in front of the entrance smoking joints/cigarettes, leaving no space for the hotel customers to sit while waiting for taxis etc.
It is a nice gesture of the hotel to work with the social services to help the homeless but maybe they could use the service lift and back entrance where there was also a lot of space to sit.
2. Our rooms were right up against the laundry room which was being used 24 hours a day causing lots of noise in our room and heat. We measured 28 degrees in our room and with the very old AC units it was not easy to cool the room down at night as we had to turn them off due to the noise they made.
We did not get a quiet room as per our booking
3. The hotel policy about only cleaning the rooms on the 5th day does not make sense. we book a room in a hotel because we expect it to be cleaned on a daily basis otherwise we could as well book somewhere else.
