Staff is amazing they work so hard to keep the place clean. They are so nice and helpful I wish I stayed there longer.

Excellent layout, security, and amenities for a hostel. Very clean with tasteful decor. The location is ideal for exploring Halifax.

No free parking which adds a considerable amount the the overall price if you are driving. No AC in rooms and if you open the window street noise is very loud. If it's a hot day/night it's not comfortable. Beds are futons which obviously have limited comfort.

We checked in online as requested. I never received the checkin codes or instructions. I called and was told the director was busy with residents but that there was a kiosk. We got to the site and again did not get an email for the codes and instructions. Called the residence director who again was busy with residents. Got a text for the code but no instructions. The “resident director” is actually a call centre. Bad service. Very small room. Poor value for money.

Excellent location, friendly staff and cozy rooms.

The bed could’ve been a bit more comfy, but we still slept reasonably well and enjoyed our stay!

Location is amazing especially if you're travelling alone. Way nicer than my university res (shoutout McGill) and everything including all the bathrooms were spotless (not even a piece of hair left on the shower wall). Not having a physical key is great too.

Nice place in the middle of downtown. Pretty clean bathrooms and a pretty clean kitchen.

Kitchen and bathroom - awesome. Very small room with a horrible view of concrete and garbage. Air con worked in main areas but not in my room. I had to set fan in open doorway to cool to a good temp. Another patron using a walker, who needed a first floor room was on the 3rd floor. What? I had a room that someone like her should have had but there was never anyone around to talk to about adjusting, trading rooms.

The door to the room would stick on the floor. No way to get a/c in room other than by leaving door open.

the location can’t be beaten. Super close to the waterfront and the downtown area. Great to visit the city. The size of the room is also quite decent.

It’s overall clean but somewhat run down and in need of renovations. The bathrooms are not all equals, some are super small some are larger. Very humid in the room and can be loud, you can hear noises from the kitchen area, the other rooms and sometimes the streets.

The location is in the centre of everything downtown. Walking distance to the water and the Citadel. The common areas were air conditioned and well cleaned.

The room was hot and stuff (this was during the heat wave). The fan helped. I slept with the window slightly opened, but it was noisy outside.

It was clean, felt safe and had everything we needed.

I didn’t realize our access codes wouldn’t arrive until shortly before our arrival. It was stressful not knowing if or when they would arrive (or not).

the location is just great! The room was clean and functional. Though I did not use the facilities, there was a nice kitchen that others used for their meal prep.

It was hard to charge my devices as the plugs were not conveniently located.

The steps to the 2nd floor are narrow and dificult with a heavy suitcase.

Good location, well kept property. Bed was super comfortable. Single room is tiny.

Self check-in, with mandatory ID upload which didn’t work in my case. There was a constant elevator room noise present in my room, even if the bldg doesn’t have an elevator.
