I like that it was close to Union Station and we enjoyed the jazz club

Window was open when we came in no screen. Share bathroom. TV was too small.

Great location in the city!

It’s a bit noisy if you like to go to bed early.

It’s location is in a prime spot. Short distance from most sights to see or activities to do. The live performances are excellent and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Perfect place for a jazz and blues fan!

The hotel and pub have separate entrances which can be initially confusing if you’re not paying attention. The signs indicating as such are well displayed though so no biggie.

Not very clean, very old, shared bathroom and very expensive

it is closed to metro, about 5 minutes by walk, the staff is very polite and ready to help you, so nice and so kind the jazz music is till 11:00 pm - I was staying in the second floor, there was no noise, you could hear it but it is OK, you can relax, you can sleep

I dislike the breakfast - it starts at 9:30 am and it is only toast from white or brown bread with small containers of jam and peanut butter and coffee, nothing else - it is not a joke, it is not real breakfast you cannot open the window - there is just air condition

During my recent stay at The Rex, I had a meeting at the Sheraton, which conveniently happened to be within walking distance from the hotel. I must say, I found The Rex to be a smart choice in terms of both budget-friendliness and its strategic location. The room I stayed in was cozy and comfortable, providing a pleasant atmosphere throughout my stay. In fact, I have no further complaints or issues to raise about the hotel. Overall, I was highly satisfied with my experience at The Rex.
