Great location, with big comfortable rooms with great views, pool, steam room, small gym. A great find!

Great value and affordable. Great location as we were able to go walking to English bay and enjoy they way to get there. Lot of people around, restaurants and cafes. The management team also great. We stayed in a 2 queens room with balcony towards the city and enjoyed the view at night and also next day in the morning.

I would just put a little table on the balcony to drink a coffee or a beer. Or maybe a small bench.

Professional and service oriented staff at the reception, water fountain in the lobby, swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi, fluffy towels and excellent room service, spacious safety box in the room, coffee and tea amenities in the room, amazing location with restaurants and shops around and within walking distance to most attractions

It would be nice if from time to time someone would pass swimming pool area and clean a bit the floor.

We picked this hotel due to it's location. Price is ok as most other hotels were around same price. We were even happier with choosing this hotel because the staff was so responsive to requests via email and text. Aman was very helpful and accomodating. Appreciated her help and accomodating us. The only thing was that we would have really loved a complimentary late check out due to medical reasons. While they were not able to do complimentary late check out for 3pm, they did offer late checkout to 12pm versus 11am. We ended up paying additional to checkout at 1:30pm. The TV connection to out tablet didn't work, think the connection cable was old and software was old. Other than that, pretty good stay. Staff was friendly, helpful and pretty safe and convenient area. Thank you.

It’s a really good location, so many good restaurants nearby

The room was really noisy, I heard random popping sound all around the room: from the bathroom, from the AC unit, and sometimes noise from the fridge

Location is the best of best. Facilities gd. I luv there is a microwave down stairs. And I luv the balcony. Perfect place to celebrate new yr. Even better if they provide bottled waters each day.

We upgraded our room to deluxe view and got one on the 22nd floor. Wow!! The view was spectacular and the room was great size. Breakfast at Abode was delicious and super convenient. Will definitely be coming back here.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. The rooms were a good size (the bathrooms are a bit small but was fine for us). The rooms seemed quite soundproof both from noises within the hotel as well as from the street. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was super convenient, had in and out privileges, and didn't cost a fortune. We would surely stay here again!

The fitness room feels pretty full with 3 people in it. We didn't use the pool due to the number of children splashing around in it, but it was nice that they had a pool and hot tub. We didn't realize that you can't take a luggage cart to the car once parked on the first level due to a flight of stairs, but when leaving, noticed that one can park next to the lobby to load and unload rather than loading/unloading from the parking space.

This is our third stay with the Blue Horizon Hotel in Vancouver. We had initially booked a 'superior king' which had us on the 30th floor. The views were great, the room was large, but the communicating wall between our room and the room next door was very thin. The people in that room were talking in a normal tone of voice but it sounded like they were in our room with us. We called the front desk and they put us in a room with two queen beds. Same size room, slightly lower floor. BUT it was a corner window room and there was no sound coming from any communicating wall. This room was much better than the first one, and they shifted us quickly and without any hesitation. The beds are super comfy. The view was amazing. We kept all the curtains as open as possible to soak in the magnificent city-and-water view. The balcony was nice to hang out on (for short amounts of time, as it was cold and rainy) I like that the parking is in-and-out. The daily rate is reasonable. We'd stayed at another hotel that had parking but it was valet-only, which I really don't like. The neighborhood is as good as you can get. There are dozens -hundreds of restaurants and shops on both sides and up and down Robson. Right across from the hotel is Ebisu, a really great Japanese restaurant. Across the street and down a little ways is Zefferelli's, where we go each time we visit. (Try the chicken liver bruschetta. It's amazing)

The gym facility is paltry. Most hotel gyms are, so nothing too surprising. I belong to Anytime Fitness, and there are several AF locations quite near the hotel. Another small complaint is that smokers do tend to stand near doorways. We had parked our car one day on a level where hotel employees hang out and smoke. When we got to our car that day it was filled with smoke. Also, someone in a room near ours was constantly smoking on the balcony, and the smoke drifted into our room a lot. I think there is more smoking in Vancouver than in Seattle (where we live) so we may be more sensitive to it than locals are. Both situations were in our hands to fix - we didn't park on that particular level any more, and when smoke drifted into our room we closed our balcony door.

Location is perfect! Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. Quick check in and out.

Small elevators and one of 3 are out of order. We saw the hotel maintenance cries are constantly using elevators for customers. Not sure if their elevators are also broken. Need more coffee capsules and cafe machine was leaking water every-time in use.

Room was great and very clean except for some missed clothing item under bed from previous guest.

This hotel is in the perfect location. We were able to walk downtown and to Stanley Park. There’s also a free shuttle bus stop to the Capilano suspension bridge right out the front. Our room was spacious and comfortable, just what we needed after 26 hours in transit. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we were grateful for the block out blinds.

Nothing! Some people may find the bathroom on the smaller side but it was perfect for what we needed.

THE ROOM WAS SPACIOUS,CLEAN AND FACILITIES WERE EXCELLENT.COMPLIMENTARY HIGH SPEED WIFI WORKED VERY WELL UNLIKE MOST HOTELS.LOCATION AT THE ROBSON STREET MADE IT VERY EASY FOR SHOPPING!THE HOTEL IS CLOSE TO ALL NICE TOURIST SPOTS.

COMMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST COULD HAVE BEEN ADDED TO THE TARIFF AND THE HOTEL NEEDS AN ATTACHED RESTAURANT FOR SERVICE TO GUESTS.CLEAN DRINKING WATER DISPENSERS COULD HAVE PROVIDED AT ALL FLOORS.

Hotel very well located in beautiful west end of Vancouver. Nice, comfortable and spacious rooms. Everything clean and staff very friendly. Numerous eating options close to the hotel. Superb view across the city.
