The location of the cottage was great, close to amenities & attractions that are open during peak season.

The staff were NOT overly friendly, welcoming or accommodating. The cottages would have been cute once upon a time but are currently run down. Our front door did not open/close or latch properly. The door on the washroom did not close completely. The cottage smelled old and musty. The bed was extremely uncomfortable/worn out. Furnishing in the cottage could use updating as they are worn out as well. Kitchen / appliances were clean but did not work properly. Stove burners not working, coffee maker not working. Definitely not as advertised. Comfort and amenities in working order are a must when travelling far from home and Avonlea cottages did not deliver!

The location was good.

When we arrived we told the owner we had to cancel our second night as we had to be in Charlottetown the next day. We booked with Booking. Com and when I looked online it still said I could cancel but to call the owner. He was very disagreeable and said he couldn’t .He went on saying we wouldn’t give good reviews. We just said we were sorry but had to be in Charlottetown the next day. Hopefully Booking. Com will be able to refund us. We are 2 senior women travelling and just needed to cancel our second night.

Good location, good value for price. Ample hot water for shower. Good shower head. Comfortable beds, good linens. Clean.

Light bulbs too dim for reading or cooking. No tea, coffee, salt, pepper provided. Pool was unheated.

Main living space was very small for 6 people to navigate around. One of the beds was very uncomfortable Not a lot of kitchen supplies

Cottage was great, I will be booking again for next summer soon.. My children loved it!

Newly renovated with new appliances and furniture.Very comfortable, nice TV,good Wifi reception,good deck and bar b que. Grounds were well attended.

The driveways were one but fine once you got used to it.A couple of properties shared the driveways.

The air conditioners were way too small. Very hot in cabins

No breakfast was offered as this was a cottage. We loved everything about the cottage. Only complaint was the fridge was set too high and our eggs froze solid! Lol We would consider staying here again.

Our cottage was located in close proximity to the playground and pool so a bit noisy first thing in the morning.
