we really liked that fact that it was quiet and private

we didn’t appreciate that there were missing essential items from the kitchen. Also the bed was very noisy when you moved.

Wonderful hosts, very well cared for property. Well-furnished, cottage met the needs for our family of six during our 3-day stay.

BBQ used charcoal which we didn’t know, and so we came unprepared to use it.

The location was perfect for us as we were visiting friends in Murray River. Breakfast service was very yummy!

The cottage was much smaller than expected. We also only had an apartment size stove and a bbq that needed charcoal which was not advised ahead of time. We ended up only using the stove once and didn’t use the bbq. We ate out a lot.

It was a lovely property with trails and its own lake. They had kayaks, a paddleboat and a rowboat.

The bathroom was very small and shower cramped. Toilet leaked a bit at the base, and there was a pervasive dampness in the cabin that made it very difficult for towels to dry. Turning on the baseboard heat didn't help. TV was in an awkward spot by the fridge across the kitchen/dining room from a couch. Beds were double beds which were a bit squeaky and hard. Blankets seemed old and scratchy but clean.

Offers a wide arrange of activities, including fishing, boating, cycling, etc. The property sits on a beautiful lake. Cottages were very clean and cozy feeling. Owners were exceptionally friendly and professional. Would love to go back next year for an extended stay.

Bed was pretty hard, clean however fur underneath the comforter. Expensive and too far from everything for the price
