Good business hotel next to downtown L.A. Restaurants and cinema close by. Big room with couch. Big bathroom as well. Lively hotel with all services one expects from a business hotel close to the convention center. Own convention center. Walking in the area was safe.

Rates are quite high, but there was a convention going on so no real surprise there.

Loved the location. I was in LA for the basketball at Crypto.com Arena, so the location of this hotel was absolutely perfect. It was about a 2 minute walk via the LA Live precinct from the hotel to the arena, with plenty of great bars and restaurants along the way (shout out to Tom's Watch Place!). The hotel was spacious, clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. My room was quite big and had plenty of light from the large window that overlooked the arena. Housekeeping provided bottled water each day. Breakfast was reasonably priced, and the gym was actually pretty good too. It was only a 15 minute walk downtown to supermarkets and other food options if nothing in the hotel or in LA Live met your needs, which was handy. A cab from the hotel to Santa Monica or Beverly Hills took about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. I was a solo traveller and really enjoyed my stay. It was ideal.

If I have to be picky, the only issue was that room service was very expensive. It was nearly $200 AUD for a pizza and a decent bottle of wine. The only other minor issue was that the shower wasn't great. The showerhead didn't give a steady stream. First world problem though, right!

Best hotel I have ever stay the staff was the best service I had.

Quando fiz a reserva o valor era 4248,00 às 3 diárias , porém foram cobrados 7303,68 mais 927,17. Falaram que ia ser um valor de calção , mas não me reembolsaram ainda. Como faço para receber os 2779,87 da diferença do valor da reserva ?

Restaurants were expensive and I was charged more than what was stated.

Homeless coming into the lobby, yelling and throwing things. Security and staff were quick to try to get them to leave but very scary

Hotel location was good but even its Downtown LA, at night its a bit sketchy to go out which however is not the Hotels fault.

My booking came with a $50 credit. The hotel first denied that this credit even existed until I showed them my booking.com confirmation after which they told me it must have been a mistake of booking.com but in the end still accepted. Weeks after my stay, I now had to find out that they still charged me $48.83 which is what I used from the gift shop and was originally promised to be covered by my $50 credit. Any attempts to contact the hotel about it have not been working and I was even accused of lying. A shame for a Marriot Hotel that charged over $300 per night and definitely my last stay there.

I loved the check-in experience as a Bonvoy member. The person that helped me was expedient and thorough, explaining how they made adjustments, so the rest of my stay is comfortable and found an available room for me to switch to. Even with the strike happening outside, during my entire stay, the hotel staff came together to be respectful of everyone while responding to the guests needs. We had a late lunch in the lobby bar, the wagyu burger with garlic parmesan fries, and it was great! I also had the branzino for dinner at Savoca and that was also great, especially the Dolce and Banana (cake with ice cream). The room was very clean, neat, everything was working well, great view of the pool, Microsoft Plaza and Crypto Arena, and south LA skyline.

I wish the parking people have the same understanding of hotel parking policy as the front desk. It's still to be resolved but I was charged a full day of valet parking because I was staying at the hotel even though I was clear that I wasn't leaving my car in the parking. I checked in, took my luggage to my room, grabbed a snack, and left. 1.5 hours and the parking staff said it would still be a full charge when the sign clearly says, right next to them, "$15.00 1st 2 hours". It's a minor hassle but Marriott will make the correction.
