Guy on reception was welcoming and very helpful... Pointing out places to eat nearby and explaining how the shower head worked. He moved us to another room when our first room had a very strong unpleasant smell and was beside the road.

Room 201, our initial room was small and beside the road. Worst of all it had a really strong unpleasant smell and I'm not sure we could have stayed in it for a night if another room hadn't been available.

Very friendly staff and free parking. The location on Lombart street is great, we walked to the harbor area, piers, the trolley and restaurants in union street. After a good nights sleep (very comfy beds!) we had a great breakfast just 9 min. walk from our room. Gas station around the corner. It feels save and is quiet at night. Thank you!

Book it! There's a reason why this motel has high reviews.great price for what you get. Has everything I was looking for. Very clean property, microwave and refrigerator, ice machine , comfortable bed, awesome shower flow, LG tv , A/C if you need it and safe location. Didn't see any homeless in the area like you would if you stayed at fisherman's wharf location,which is 30 minute walk or $12 Uber ride away. You also have free parking and 2 gas stations just around the corner. Laundry facility is also a couple minutes walk around the corner. Noise not that bad compare to homeless and people noise you'll hear at a hotel at fisherman's wharf. I definitely recommend this motel

location is great, close to lots of cafes down Chestnut st. Crew is very empathetic and friendly.

carpets are old and room was la not smelly when we arrived. traffic at Lombard st can be heard in your room.
