Zentrale Lage, nahe am Empire State Building. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in den Norden oder Süden von Manhattan. Verschiedene U-Bahn Linien sind in 5 Min. zu erreichen. Dachterasse im Sommer mit schönem Blick auf das Empire State Building. Die Betten sind bequem, Kissen ebenfalls. Jeden Tag gab es Wasserflaschen.

Die Zimmergrösse ist recht klein. Bei mehreren Gepäckstücken wird es schon schwierig… Die Einrichtung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Good location overall for convenience, even if the street itself is filthy and dingy.

Having specifically asked for a room to be ready between 3-4 pm, and as is the stated check in time, I arrived after long journey to be told I could have the room I booked at 6 pm (the hotel had allowed the previous guests in the room a late check out at 6), or downgrade to a different room for a discount of $50. I didn't want to downgrade since I had booked the room I wanted, but had no choice. Absolutely shocking that Hyatt don't honour your booking. Front desk staff apologised but didn't do anything to solve the problem other than offering me a downgrade. Hotel room was a decent size but looked out to an office block and had very little outside light. The hotel in general, and rooms in particular, are tired and shabby, brown musty and smelly carpets that's probably been there a few decades. You have a choice of a very loud air conditioning system in the room (60dBA measured at 6 am), or leave the window open with the street noises and frequent honking and sirens which is normal in NYC. Even if you turn your air con off the next doors will probably keep you awake anyway (48-50dbA at 6 am in my room with my air con turned off). On the second day the room hadn't been cleaned until 4 pm and required three calls to the front desk to get someone to come and clean it. Watch out for the taxes and extras - these are significant. The hotel charges a $20 daily destination fee that's an absolute rip off - apparently the amenities they offer for this is acces to the terrace bar (which wasn't open during the entire stay), tea and coffee in the lounge, 10% discount at macys and other useless offers. At over $450 a night, this hotel is a rip off even by NYC standards.

Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Durften schon um 9.30 Uhr einchecken. Schöne Rooftopbar wo man selbst mitgebrachte Speisen und Getränke verzehren kann.

Locatie

Ontbijtfaciliteiten en serviceniveau zijn voor een vier-sterren hotel (hyatt) onder de maat. Hotel is ook gedateerd en luchtkwaliteit slecht. Elke dag wakker met koppijn.

Location was perfect. It was nice to have a window that opened in the room with a view of the Empire State Building. Staff was very friendly and courteous.

The room needs a makeover. The beds are very uncomfortable. After a long day of walking bed comfort is important.The shower was not very clean. The tv was broken it had a defect on the screen that was distracting. Not enough big towels and facecloths provided.

The staff went above and beyond they helped us with an early check in for at least one of the two rooms. They also offered valet parking. Checking in was pretty easy. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were clean and had lots of storage. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to others and definitely will book with them again on our next trip.

I was charged twice $1202. The staff are staying just wait for refund. I already paid $952. Upon check in. I am very frustrated to deal with Staff that don’t care. First man told me dI only worked here 2 days. Second man said just wait for your $1200. Very unprofessional. I have traveled a lot and never had this happen to me.

Location is perfect to explore New York. The rooftop bar is fantastic at night for a view over the city and the empire state building.

We were told that there was a $15 discount on the restaurant and bar. Turns out, it is not that simple. It is only activated from the moment your bill is over $15 and it doesn't apply to breakfast Rather expensive, but like everything in this city.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for any better. The hotel was very clean. The roof top beautiful view and food was very good. Would come back
