Lovely location. Pinhao is a beautiful town and all the places in the town are walkable. The host Francisco made our stay memorable and helped us at every stage. The house has all the facilities and makes one feel at home.

There was no air-conditioning in the bedrooms but the main a/c unit did keep the house cool in the punishing heat.

The location was excellent and we were able to walk into the Quinta and the village. Seating areas around the house and use of a wood BBQ area and canoes are a good bonus. The bedrooms are all a good size as is the sitting area and the pool a definite bonus for the hot weather with some relaxing chairs and sunshades to the side. Francisco was an excellent and attentive host and it was lovely to meet Maria also. Pool towels and spare towels if we needed them. An older kitchen but everything you needed.

Just minor issues with leaky shower door in the en suite and the secondary shower tended to shoot off its holder so everyone used the en suite shower. nothing which would spoil a break. There is an additional shower by the pool for a rinse.

Amazing location, right in centre of pinhao. Would definitely recommend

Francisco was a wonderful host! Unbelievably beautiful location within easy walking distance to Pinhao. This is a gem.

1st - the welcome from our host Francisco. He could not have been more charming in explaining everything about the villa. 2nd - the facilities were extremely comfortable both internally and externally. The garden was extensive with tomatoes growing and ready for our breakfast! 3rd - The location was quiet but was very close (certainly within walking distant) of Pinhao centre with plentiful shops bars and restaurants and more importantly various Quinta for wine & port tasting!

I can not think of anything that might have improved our stay.
