Very central and the bathroom was practically new. They also left us some coffee sachets and they came to clean the room every day. The room was quite spacious and had 2 quite comfortable office chairs.

The room was not clean, it was full of dust and the floor left your socks black. Near the bed there were no plugs which made it super difficult to leave the mobile charging and use it as an alarm. Through the windows you couldn't see anything, you could only see the sky. In the bathroom I missed a place to leave the soap to shower. Despite being an aparthotel and having enough space, there was no table to eat, just a small coffee table.

The place stay in front of the museum. Very nice location, you can go walk to the city during the day end night. The metro is very close to the hotel. People are very polite and requests. The barroom is very good, the shower is good.

The bath is to small, and you should take care to not weat all the bathroom. But the shower is god.

Noise

Too much noise coming from the room next door kept us awake - not the fault of the hotel or staff.

The hotel is strategically located and enabled my wife and I to move around on foot. Very nice piece of property.

I didn't have to use the electricity-card I was given at the reception because the system didn't work anyway. I received a free apple as well.

It smelled of mould, the cooker's knobs were missing, the air conditioning did not heat, I had to unclog the sink, the hot water barely flowed from the sink tap, the paint was peeling off in the bathroom, the room was very dark, the room was noisy outside the window, no power sockets near the bed, the toilet was so close to a wall that it was nearly impossible to sit on it.

It was a bit run down, they need to update everything. We booked four rooms and they were all the same, nothing like the photos on their web page, the pillows were very uncomfortable for my liking and the rooms were very hot. There is heating but no air conditioning and if you sleep with the windows open it’s to noisy.

Location excellent and would recommend to anybody who just wants somewhere cheap to get their heads down. Staff really nice and place very clean so no complaints whatsoever from me.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location and the people working there. We didn't even stay for the night, we found another hotel and moved.

The hotel is run out, the bed is like an old sofa. We were aware that the hotel is in the middle of a renovation so everything looks like a construction site.

The location of the hotel was perfect. We had a little kitchen with some kitchen stuff, like a kettle, coffee cups and water glasses. All wass cleaned. the room was big enough, also the bathroom. we have had a good view to a little street from the window.

The noise of outside was directly welcomed to the room, the windows and the doors are not so good isolated. At the reception by the check in they ask for your visa card information, is a sort of guarantee even we did already paid the room. I think the hotel needs a good renovation, some of the materials were very old.

Location is great. The area is full of good bars and restaurants and has a lively vibe without being overcrowded. A good place if you like vintage clothes shops too. Right next to Tribunal metro station which has dierct links via line 1 to both major railway station and anywhere else you might want to go in central Madrid. Staff were super friendly and helpful and overall decent value for the price I paid.

There was constant building noise as the hotel is currently undergoing some refurbishments which it is desperately in need of. All the tiles in my bathroom had been painted over at some point (as had the bath itself) and this was now peeling noticeably. The TV reception was almost non existent and just didn't work half the time. The walls are a bit on the thin side and I could hear next door's couple having noisy sex quite a bit. Good for them. Less good for me. That all said, for me the positives outweighed the negatives. The bed was comfy, the staff were great and the price was good. I have no real complaints and enjoyed my stay.

renovations during our stay with no prior warning. Masonary drill going continuously. No day off for workmen. Noise drove us insane.
