Bosio is an excellent location for exploring this area of piedmonte. The village is peaceful and relaxing, the accommodation itself offers a private terrace to relax in the evening if you have had a busy day, with pleasant views of the surrounding hills. There are local shops, a pizzeria and a restaurant which provides enjoyable local dishes. Nearby Gavi offers garages, ATM's, shopping opportunities, restaurants and a useful Sunday market.

There is no downside to Bosio but be prepared for a brief steep walk uphill from the centre village parking area.

The terrace was an enjoyable addition . The bathroom facilities were excellent with hot water shower and well supplied towels available throughout. Host was very helpful with any queries, and always contactable if needed.

Although adequate the kitchen utensils were minimal e.g a toaster would be useful addition. Main hot method for preparing food being a single ring heater. No TV for occasional viewing but probably part of the quite restful location USP of the apartment. The internet connection although available would occasionally drop so listening to BBC world service or podcasts needed to be in small downloads.

The host Paola was very kind. Even though we came delayed due to heavy traffic, she was waiting for us, checked us in, explained everything, and even helped us find parking. The village is very cute and the location is perfect for a stopover.

There was a huge selection of tea bags in the room, but no coffee sachets, which would have been nice.

Don’t let the cheap price scare you. The room and bathroom are spacious, clean and well equipped. The room has a very beautiful balcony. Bosio is a nice, small town. We are travelling by bicycle, and on Monday the restaurant’s appeared to be closed. Paola, the very friendly owner, immediately offered to cook us a good diner.
