Very nice lady at the reception, she helped with door lock. Great location. Room clean and well prepared. Coffee and tea available. Great that I could leave my luggage for couple of hours
Lock in door was not working properly. TV remote control was so dirty, that I was afraid to touch it.

The size was a lot smaller than expected and there were no facilities ie hairdryer in the room which we didn't realise until we actually needed it

Location was great
Very worn… carpets are a mess, skirting a mess, lift broken, cracks in windows. Not worth £500 for 1 night… needs a massive refurb

Great room, working heating. Amazing PRIVATE bathrooms!!! Friendly staff. Have stayed here twice and will be back in the near future!!!
WI-Fi does not really work. I didnt need it since i know the area but if you are new to the city and wi-fi is a must maybe dont stay here. Thats the only downside.

Hairs in the room, mold, overall not very clean. Basement rooms so no windows.

Good location and comfy bed. Staff always around if needed.
Second time visiting, probably won't be a third. Room very small and very tired looking with some botch-job fixes, including a patch on the side of the bath, rusty metal work and filled-in cracked tiles. Flooring uncomfortably hard, raised in areas, incomplete and didn't join up to bathroom door leaving spikes exposed. Very limited plugs and none near mirrors. No bedside table to one side of the bed (even though there was space) which is slightly awkward for drinks at night etc. No where for hand towels in the bathroom so these just get wet on the sink side, also nowhere to hang wet towels after showering. Hair dryer dodgy and cut out after 2 minutes of use, needing to cool down before carrying on.
Unfortunately we were disappointed after our last trip here.

The hotel is very well located and great value for money. My only concern is the mattress. It's too soft and I require a hard mattress for my back. Otherwise I am totally happy with it.
The mattress was not firm enough and caused a bit of back pain.

The location.
A mouse in my first room!!! And blood stained sheets and dead ticks in my second room. Old, tatty decor in the rooms and corridors. (Despite the fancy entrance waiting area).

The only thing that can be recommended about this hotel is the location. It’s very central but also reasonably quiet for such a central location. As two females we felt safe in the neighbourhood walking back at night.
The woman that checked us in was the rudest person I’ve ever had the misfortune to meet. We walked in, she didn’t say hello and just glared from behind the desk in silence. I explained we were there to check in, and the first words out of her unsmiling mouth were, ‘give me your passport’. Followed by ‘I need your passport’ when in the next 7 seconds no passport was placed in her hands, as I replied ‘excuse me? You want my passport?’ Because I’m from the UK I don’t travel with a passport when travelling in the UK.
So she asked if I had a booking reference instead, which i did on my email on my phone. However there’s no Wi-Fi in the hotel, 4G/5G don’t work either as the reception area must be made of lead and concrete. I remarked I couldn’t get access on my phone, and in the next 45 seconds she barked at me multiple times that she needed a booking reference. I then very firmly told her that would need to step out onto the pavement to get enough service on my phone to get her the booking reference. By this point she’d been so rude in the minute and a half we’d been there, that I remarked I’d also be hoping to find a smile outside too. Zero reaction.
I came back, gave her the booking reference, she took my phone dead-eyed, tapped on her computer with not a word, gave the phone back and demanded my credit card. When I asked why, she said she was going to put a hold on my card for £200, even though the room was already fully paid for?!
Her interpersonal skills were awful and she gave off spiteful hatred with every word she spoke, even though our interaction was only minutes long. She clearly hates her job and having to talk to customers, so I’d suggest she finds something that makes her happy.
She is also pure inspiration for a bad review for this hotel. I’d otherwise have overlooked the shabby interior, tiny rooms, carpetless stairs, non-working lift, lights that didn’t work and youth hostel feeling of the place. Well done awful woman, this one’s for you!

Good position
The room I was in (underground floor) didn’t make sense at all.
The door was hard to lock (expect to lose 2/3 min every time) the light is only next to the door, so you have to get up from your bed, the power sockets are on the opposite wall, 2 out of 4 not working so you won’t have your devices next to you. The toilet has a window right next to main door, so not really comfortable if you are there with family or friends if you don’t want to be seen while taking a shower.
In the toilet there is no power sockets, and in the room there is no mirror, so is not gonna be easy to make your hear. The wall and the door are so thin you can hear every one conversations from the next rooms. My room was next to the elevator, so in the morning you have the impression the people are inside your room.
The bed not really comfortable (is very old). The hair dryer was in the closet. The television on the left side of the wall. If you want to turn off the lights you need to get to the door, but since is underground room with no window, once off, is super dark, so you would use your phone, to get back to your bed, but then you won’t charge it because there are no power sockets. The solution I found is to step in the bathroom to turn on the light, then turn off the main one, then close the toilet door.
This room will make you loose a lot of time and wake up early because of the noises

Good location from underground.
What is not advertise is that after you paid accommodation they want £200 in case damages. When you check out you have to present your card again to get refund. There is no breakfast option. Their excuse they are redoing restaurant. I checked previous reviews they have been doing that since 2019.

Excellent location and cost of the hotel. Although the facilities are very basic, if your looking for a balanced hotel stay with basic features in an amazing central location in London, look no further!
Hotel requires a little basic maintenance.

The location is great! Easy access to public transportation and if prefer walking then most shops and restaurants are walking distance too,
A bit cramped and you can hear other guests talking . Noisy neighbours walk me up at around 4am banging the door calling each other, I think they were going to the airport. It wasn’t the hotels fault … they still need to make sure to tell their guests to be considerate I think.

De plek
De kamer was erg minimaal. Douchen in het bad was niet geheel ongevaarlijk en is iets om rekening mee te houden als je niet goed ter been bent. Veel stof.

Location: excellent. Less than a minute walk from Tottenham Court Road tube station, Tesco Extra, 24 hour restaurant a couple of doors away.
The walls were thin and thankfully the tv next door was turned off at a reasonable time - so didn't disturb me.
I was surprised to read on a leaflet in the room that NO FOOD was allowed in the room. This would have been useful to mention on the booking information. Although it did say food could be eaten in the foyer area - this was a very cosy area next to Reception.
It was a surprise to see a guest who was waiting at the same time as myself for a lift to step back into the wall and the board fall out. There were a couple of unsafe looking updates in progress with no warnings about them.
The staff were excellent - Reception were friendly, helpful. Housekeeping staff were a pleasant surprise to meet and chat to. They really added to the good feel of the hotel.
A really special touch is that the room is cleaned daily and bedding changed. I wasn't expecting this.
I did notice some white stuff on the walls and brown stuff on the door which both came off with a little help of wetwipes.
For a three star hotel it was worth staying in (next time I must book further ahead to hopefully benefit from better prices, maybe!?).
I loved there was a large fan in the room to use. It was an unexpectedly warm weekend and I was concerned I could be too warm as there isn't any airconditioning The fan was ample to keep me cool overnight. Thank you.
A gap at the bottom of the door let in the light from the corridor.
Noise from other guests entering and exiting their rooms was loud (i think the corridors are tiled so no carpet to dampen any noise).

Location good - near to Dominion Theatre , Bed linen and bathroom was clean
The room was very small, no plug holes in either sink or bath , shower screen not up to the job meaning bathroom floor was very wet. Very small double bed. Sound insulation poor

The location was excellent. The staff were polite. They tried to help solve problems but there was no follow up.
The room was a lot smaller than it appeared in the photo on Booking.com. Contrary to the description, we were only able to access a Wifi connection for a very limited amount of time one afternoon out of the seven nights we stayed there after we had brought this to the attention of the receptionists.
What was described as a 'seating area' was a rather shabby chair in a room that was already very small for two people.
There was no safe and the one that was eventually provided was a box that could be locked but was not secured into the wall.
There was only one night table with the drawers missing in what was a room for two.

The room was very basic, old & small. Whilst I appreciate it was a budget room still felt could have been in better condition.

Lift was a trip hazard as flooring coming away.
Then stairs were out of order from level 1 to ground.

Dirty bed sheet.

We literally walked out and left after a few hours as the house was terrible.

Room was not ready when we arrived at 4pm although check in was at 3pm. Gave us another room instead I. The one we book which was situated on the ground floor and so tiny we could barely move around the bed. No iron etc.
spoke with receptionist and was moved to another room on the 5th floor that was a little better with some more space.

Room very small. No bedside table on RHS of bed. Poor bathroom - shower head not suited to attachment so next to useless. Generally, decor of passageways very rough/not finished. Felt like we were staying in "temporary accommodation."
