This property was more than we expected! It was perfect for our 3 night stay. We walked in to find coffee, tea, and snacks waiting on us. The location is perfect--so close to everything you'd ever need! Joel (and his cousin Maria) were extremely accommodating and Joel communicated with us often during our stay. If you're going to be in Madrid for more than a night or two, this is your place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Travelled to Madrid with 2 young children and found Joel's apartment really comfortable with everything we needed. There was great communication from Joel from initial queries through to departure and it was lovely that he was there to meet us on arrival with oranges and milk. The location was perfect - we walked to everything we wanted to see and plenty of options for food. What a brilliant and friendly city, and a very happy stay at this apartment. Muchas gracias!

We stayed at Calle Magdalena from March 14 Thru the 21st 2019. The apartment was Perfect. Joel waited for us to arrive with my wife and son. Getting to the apartment from the Barajas was easy. After we arrived at Atocha station from the Yellow express bus, we took the metro - two stops later we exited at Tirso de Molina. Walked about 2 minutes. The apartment is on the 5 floor with an elevator. What you see in the pictures is what you will get! Joel gave us the run down, keys and the mini market up the street, he had tangerines, milk and coffee on the kitchen table for us (nice touch). We had a fantastic time. Plaza de Sol, Plaza Mayor, Plaza Santa Ana, Prado Museum, National Place and Atocha Station all in walking distance from the apartment. We took the metro to various points around Madrid even to the Bull Ring. We did three mini day trips to Toledo, Avila and Segovia. The apartment was clean - Kitchen had all what we needed. We did cook dinner one night. There is a fresh open market down the street. Nice size refrigerator for our food for breakfast and beverages. No problems at all. We never heard or saw the neighbors in the building. Joel did contact us to see how we were doing. Towels and beds super clean as well with the bathroom. We had Wifi and cable TV. Check out was easy. We will be going back to Madrid and staying at Joel's apartment in the near future. I have spoken to many friends and family, this is place to stay!!!!! Gracias Joel por Todo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay in Joel's apartment during the Christmas and New Year's holidays. It is a lovely apartment with everything we needed plus the location is perfect. The apartment kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, the living room spacious, and the views from the small balconies are lovely. The apartment is close to several Metro stations and many shops, cafes, museums, etc. The elevator as well as the stairs were fine and the neighborhood is comfortable and safe.There is some sound from the street below but the apartment is in a lively city so that is to be expected. Joel was a pleasure to work with and communication was excellent. Our family would absolutely stay here again and we highly recommend. Thank you again for everything!!!

The host Joel has been such a great host, he has been very patient and kind to us. The location is amazing in the very city center ! And the flat itself is really nice, beautifully decorated and very clean !

A very friendly welcome, helpful feedback while we were getting ready for our trip, and unobtrusive check-in messages to see how we were doing during our stay. All very appreciated. As to the location, perfect for the wanderer going to various areas downtown with easy access to train station and metro, as well as wide range of dining options. We had a wonderful stay in the central apartment close to all main attractions. Joel is an amazing host, very attentive, making sure we have everything we need and providing us with any information we asked. The place is well equipped for a comfortable stay and a foot walk to center. We were three friends traveling and wanted to see the most of Madrid the in short time we had - 3 days. Our host was so accommodating in greeting us at the apartment, providing us with invaluable tourist info and even had breakfast fixings for us , and arranged for a cab for our early morning departure. The apartment was comfortable, with everything we needed, and close to everything we wanted to do. Highly recommend

"The appartment is really nice and well positioned in Madrid centre. Is a sunny place wth view on Madrid roof. The apartment as all needed comforts and owner is really a nice smily available person, he wait for us until 24:00 and provide us a wellcome breakfast and was always ready to help in case of issue. The apartment is only a little bit / slightly noisy (cars) the evening but this is normal in the center of Madrid and well paid back but his strategic position. We have been with our 2 children and we decided to exchange the beds with them because the one for us was not exactly a "king size"...even if nice and well equipped as design and comfort. All the fournitures are new and as describided in the announce, only the oven have some difficulty to work from both side, but upper part work normally. Overall very positive experience and we thank you again the owner and will adivse to try it to other Homeholidays users."
