Staying in this historical house was both enjoyable and memorable.

We liked its location -- just half a block from Louis Armstrong park -- and its historic nature. How often in the US does one get to stay in a 250-year-old home? But even beyond those things, we can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the people in the neighborhood and the property managers were. The principal manager, Lloyd, had a family emergency that took him out of town during our stay, but his "back-up" manager, Andre, went 'way above and beyond any reasonable expectation we had to help us out when we were getting ready to leave to drive down to the port to start our cruise to the Panama Canal and discovered the twelve-volt battery in our Prius was dead. When we called him to see if he could suggest a roadside assistance service we could call, he drove from his house and then called AAA (he's a member) for us. He was, if not a life saver, at least a vacation saver.

We have no complaints at all.

We loved how close we were to the French Quarter and Bourbon St. We were able to walk to pretty much everything we wanted to see and do, so we didn't have to use any gas until we left for home!

Great place to stay close to the center of Nola! Can recommend the host!

Our host was super nice and friendly. Gave us lots of tips for things to do, see and go eat. Calmed our nerves, because when we initially pulled up we did not feel comfortable with the location (just a block from homeless camp under bridge). Were told how much the area had been revived recently and that there's a police station right across the street in the park. Place had everything one might need. We came well prepared, but liked that food, toiletries etc that other guest left behind were available should we have forgotten anything. Furniture was comfortable. Communication to check in and out was great! Would stay here again!

Lloyd was an incredible host and our stay was perfect. Would definitely stay again and recommend!!

The location was perfect and our host, Lloyd, provided excellent communication. We also negotiated transportation to and from the airport with Lloyd, which worked out perfectly. The house was exactly as described, with plenty of amenities and sundries. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and well-stocked. It was an easy walk to the French Quarter and we always felt safe in the neighborhood.

My only complaint was that the walls are a little thin and our neighbors in the adjoining unit were very loud. This is not a reflection of the host or the quality and comfort of the accommodations, but visitors may want to note that you will hear your neighbors if the other unit is occupied.

Another Fabulous Stay at Lloyd's Place!!!!

The host is spectacular-helpful, caring and wise. Very great location and facility for my two sons with autism, as it was easy parking, walking and a nice, historical neighborhood. Comfy bed and full kitchen. Nice yard. Very home sweet home away from home.

Highly recommended

The apartment was great! It had everything that we needed and is very dog friendly. There is even a fenced yard in the back. Everything was very clean and there is plenty of things for the guests to use (towels, etc.). Walking distance to the French Quarter. We’ll definitely stay there again if we come back to NOLA!

For me the best decision I made next to deciding to return to NOLA

For me a people watcher, the location across the street from entrance into Armstrong Park is a fantastic way to proceed to the very close by French Quarter

Absolutely nothing negative to say. I always enjoy my stay there. Mr. Lloyd is a great host.

Lovely pad in a friendly and historic neighbourhood.

Lovely spacious pad in a historic neighbourhood, where friendly strangers on the street will always pause their conversations to say hello to you. Very glad we chose to stay here over a hotel in a busier area. The house is equipped with everything you’ll need. Easy stroll to some great eateries and the Quarter. Lloyd was a very helpful host who let us check in early at short notice, and was always a phone call away to assist with anything.

Very satisfied Would thoroughly recommend Lloyd and his apartment.

We were collected by Lloyd, who brought us to the door and showed us everything. Families were very good, great central location, felt very safe.Easy walking distance to the French quarter. Lloyd was very helpful and sorted out any minor problems we had. His taxi service to and from the airport was great!

Very little! The building is old, so minor changes are difficult. It would have been nice to have bedside lights, but we understand that circumstances make it not possible.

Fantastic Property, Great Location.

As Australians I was really confused about what area to stay in and we picked this property at the flip of a coin. I’m so glad we did. The location is perfect: Close to French Quarter and Treme, safe, quiet and the owner is great to deal with.

Unique NOLA experience!

Nice bungalow, I love older homes with an upgrade! Very unique set up, something to experience! French doors, old fireplaces (filled in) walk through from living, bedroom to kitchen. Most everything you need. Clean, comfortable bed. The host made special arrangements for us to arrive late (1 hour). Easy walk to theater district (very close) and Beale Street.

Getting to the property off I-10 was a little tricky and concerning, but once we arrived at the property we felt safe. Strict check in time was difficult (but understandable) to meet, very stressful. Difficult to communicate when you are traveling. Kitchen needs some love. Pricey.

Great Larg Apartment Super Host.

Great Apartment, super Service the Host ,

the apartment is close to the FQ but did not work for me. as short walking way via the Armstrong park (close at night ) not availble at night , Uber or taxi traveling home nights equired .

A diamond in the rough 😁

N the bathroom has me looking into getting one for mine. The inside looks great, cute little fixture in the bathroom and the rack over the door anything you could want is there. Beautiful washer and dryer set. I felt safe and secure in this lovely hideaway. Cozy yet roomy. The host was amazing, understanding and accommodating. Would recommend for sure.

The location had me rethinking my decision to book it but I can handle my own and looks can be deceiving. Neighborhood looks bad, but the people I met were so nice.
