everything, the design and location were amazing!

Wi-Fi was a little unreliable but that was it!

The house was completely what we expected. We read the reviews prior to going and were prepared for the stairs and rooms being on different levels. I traveled with my mum (69) and she stayed in the first room, two floors up, which conveniently had a bathroom just outside without having to take any steps to this from the bedroom, meaning no need to worry about taking steep steps in the night. They are steep but we are two fit people who managed just fine. The property is beautifully designed with comfortable bedding and is well-equipped. We really enjoyed coming back to it every day and loved the traditional features. It is in the most perfect location for popping back throughout the day and we never had a problem with parking (in April, we can imagine high season might take a bit more searching for spaces). The views from the rooftop terrace are special. The property was full of charm and character and we would be very quick to return here in future.

We were asked what time we planned on leaving and were then told we had to be out before that. It would be nice to know in advance the checkout time. No instructions about waste/recycling etc. When we stay at places like this in the UK we are often greeted with a little welcome book of instructions/things to do/see and even maybe a little treat (bottle of wine/snacks/milk). Fortunately we know Menorca very well already :) Some of the towels were well-worn and going grey and the hot water ran out quickly (with just two people showering). Don't expect a terrace with furniture/seating. It's a pop up, perch on the terrace sort of place. Would be absolutely fine for a sundowner for a couple though in summer. It is noisy but this is to be expected in a spot above the main pedestrian/shopping street. I sleep with earplugs anyway so it didn't bother me. Expect it's noisier later/longer in summer months. A bustling hub makes it all part of the charm.

The house was very quirky. Great location in the centre of the old part of Ciutadella. Perfect for our short stay.

There were no full length mirrors in the property. Wouldn't recommend it for young families or people with walking difficulties due to every floor having stairs.

The rooms are all on separate floors, so unsuitable for anyone with restricted mobility.

The house is in an amazing spot in Ciutadella old town, surrounded by shops and restaurants. The house - absolutely beautiful, was very clean, comfortable, amenities as described The host - very friendly, responsive to questions prior to arrival and during our stay, met with us to handover the keys and helped plan our itinerary as well with suggestions for activities and places to see nearby Good public transport links - the bus stops and taxi stand are 5-7 minutes walk from the house, we managed getting to the airport & beaches along the south coast (Son Saura to Cala Gadana have direct buses from Ciutadella) by bus and Cala en Porter by taxi.

The property has a fantastic location. The owner was very kind, gave us useful information and also gave us a parking which was fantastic.

The air conditioning wasn’t working well so it was quiet hot.

A lot of stairs and low ceilings. A little bit minimalist and needed more comfort, such as another sofa, bedside lamps.

We had the best time at Jose’s house and he was so helpful giving us tips and even allowing us to have a late check out to catch a later flight or bringing us extra coffee pods. The house is truly a dream. The best location you can hope for and Ciutadella proved to be the best hub to explore the island. The deco is very clean and stylish and you will find everything you need there, although a large wall mirror or hooks on the walls/behind the doors to hang stuff would have been nice to have. All 3 bedrooms had aircon and to our surprise there was not only a bathroom with a nice bathtub but a wet room which was quite handy after a day on the beach when you travel with more people (We thought there was only 1 bathroom by looking at the pics initially). Parking is available in a short walking distance and you can even get it for free if you find a spot within the while lines, otherwise you have the blue ones as option and only charged from 9:30am to 9pm, after that it’s free. And to make everything even more special there is a little terrace with 360 views where we watched the sunset once that was a big bonus. No doubt I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back to beautiful Menorca and hopefully this same Spanish house.
