AmazIng Views. Pool. Good facilities.

Quite a lot of monkeys (but we knew this as made clear in the blurb) quite daunting to start with but got used to it and they weren’t aggressive!

This is by far the best place with the best view in the whole Diani. We will not be able to visit any other spot after our stay here. It was absolutely amazing. The owners and staff are outstanding. Thanks Barry, Janet and Team.

The place looked exactly like the photos, if not better. The bedroom and bathroom were superb and the terrace was absolutely sublime! We were met by Janet who was great and helped us order tuktuks and gave plenty of recommendations for places to visit. Housekeeping were great too. The pool was cleaned daily, as was the room and to a very high standard. The property also benefits from security which is much needed in the area.

The property was let down by two things: beach boys and monkeys. It was a shame that every time I went down to have a swim in the sea I would be harassed by at least six beach boys trying to sell me something. They would ask for money and not leave my side. I appreciate it's not in the host's control but definitely something to be aware of. It didn't make us feel safe during our stay. In addition, the monkeys were a real pain. The property has a beautiful terrace and we often wanted to just use the poola and lie on the deck chairs so we would not be harassed by beach boys. However, if we had snacks on us, monkeys would come and try to steal them. The monkeys can get aggressive when food is present so we had to lock the food inside and we were unable to have romantic dinners on the patio for fear of the monkeys snatching the food. The monkeys would also knock things over like chairs and plant pots. Worst of all they would pee or poop on the terrace which was not pleasant to return to. The staff however would clear the area when we notified them.

The place is as beautiful as in the pictures. You have the monkeys coming outside and is both nice and not s nice. The good part is that you can observe the monkeys very close and this is unique. On the other side some of them are not really allowing you to enjoy the swimming pool or the outside as you don’t feel comfortable. Generally we had an amazing time in Diani and at the accommodation.
