I loved the fact that the furnishings were in keeping with the period of the house as well as being comfortable and attractive.
The stairs but help was available.

The location and parking was perfect being so close to the centre of the village but still so quiet and relaxing.
The room and facilities were clean and the whole place and staff were so welcoming.
Thanks

Breakfast was average. Portions were given to you, unable to choose how much you required (small or large). Some alternatives would be helpful more continental plus fresh fruit.
The menu’s for evening/ bar meals were very basic and didn’t sound appealing.
The hotel was quite central for touring.
Disappointed with the luxury room, decor was dated, paint flaking on architrave. Duvet was lumpy past its sell by date. Bathroom appeared to be luxurious but rain shower awful, water splashing out of cubicle, bath mats and towel had to be put on floor outside, jets appeared to be blocked, would probably benefit from some kind of shower door .
