Namibgrens Guest Farm

This was one of the accommodations that was total exceeded our expectations. We wanted to stay somewhere to breakdown our journey from Windhoek to Sossusvlei and we stumbled cross this lodge based on excellent reviews. But when we arrived the location, the space, and the fact there were three separate living spaces under different roof not just rooms under the same roof to make up the three bedroom villa blew us away. They were beautifully presented. We could just wake up to the sunrise which was magic. We opted to have the half board option, the breakfast and dinner were both delicious and served in an intimate and romantic setting. The service was very personalised. The host calf was super entertaining and kind too. As an extra bonus we saw the most amazing Milky Way there. And this was one of the most memorable stay in our two weeks Namibia tour.,

We loved our Villa it was absolutely stunning. We bought their Braai pack of salad, lamb, sausages & bread to enjoy in our private Braai area as the outside area was so beautiful

I have no idea why we only booked the one night I so wished I had booked two at this lovely place so we had time to do some of the walks.

This was the most upscale place I ever stayed. The houses are pure luxury and the scenery is amazing. We just used it a a stopover between Sossusvlei to Swakopmund. We booked it because it was the only place in-between even though it was over our budget. But hell it was worth it. If you can afford the price, which is high compared to a BnB in a city but still very cheap compared to what you get, you should not think twice and book it. The place is amazing in every aspect.

The price being way over our budget, but it was still worth every dollar.

The rooms are really amazing : imagine big rocks of ocher granit stones inside your bedroom and bathroom in a big and comfortable thatched roof bungallow, a real experience !

After having a good bath, (with it ?) before going to bed, , we found a 12 cm venomous scorpio walking along the floor. Thanks to two magazines that blocked it, we threw it away by the window... where it should have stayed... Could not sleep the whole night without checking there was not a second one. A real experience, which should have deserved a good bottle of wine to forget it... or free breakfasts to reward us... (Don't forget to close your luggage if they stay on the floor and check your shoes).
