Would stay here again in a heartbeat and will recommend to friends

The breakfast was excellent to our taste, as it provided very healthy choices such as fresh fruits, yoghurt, smoked salmon and avocado toast. The restaurant and bar served very good food and wine selections, staff was super friendly.

We loved everything!

This is a wonderful historic hotel, really a ‘place to stay’ more than a place to be.

A wonderful historic building, with good sized bedrooms and comfortable beds.

The communal areas (bar and breakfast room) are small. There is no lounge or other area to be in that is not the bar or breakfast room.

Such a great and lovely place to stay in Houston!

old world charm! maybe the rooms are not completely up to the most modern of standards, but they have all you need. the staff is really nice, breakfast is great and so is the location. We hope to go here again sometime.

at some point a small overhaul will be necessary.

Great stan apart from the breakfast

Overall smooth experience! Friendly staff at the reception and the view from my room was great.

Beautiful hotel with lovely staff. Definitely worth the stay.

The hotel was lovely, and the staff was impeccable. The breakfast and the amenities were wonderful. The housekeeping and valet service were especially great. I would definitely stay there again.

The noise level was a bit high in the hall. I understand that an older building isn't going to be as noise proof, but at times it was distracting.

A very enjoyable stay at this excellent hotel in a friendly and clean city.

Very friendly staff and a nice cosy atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, very nicely decorated and clean.

Great choice hotel

Welcome drink & free snacks. Incredibly comfortable bed. Good sized room & bathroom. Great position very close to Bourbon Street, but in quiet road.

Parking expensive, but seems to be all over New Orleans.

Loved it, food and staff was fantastic! The room was immaculate and extremely comfortable.

We loved our stay! The staff were fantastic, thank you to Renee, Kate, Laura and the wonderful valets who helped us. Sorry we couldn’t remember all the names. Hotel is immaculate and we will stay there again if ever back in Houston.

Great hotel except for lack of fitness room.

management handled a room issue splendidly. room was gorgeous (penthouse suite). (Thank you, Laura!). staff in general was good.

only downside is “fitness room”, if you can call it that. it’s basically a closet with a few exercise bikes. useless to me. they really need to make a major upgrade. until that happens I won’t be back.

Nicw hotel, not great breakfast

Great central location, interior is very nice and classy, facilities are great, loved the mini bar and all the snacks/drinks replenished daily. the restaurant was great as well

the only let down was breakfast. the selection was very small, there was not a single vegetable in sight and the rest of the food was not of great quality. complete mismatch with the rest of the hotel

Perfect choice for a hotel in downtown Houston.

Great location and quaint ambiance. The staff was great and even upgraded my room since it was my first time staying there.

No complaints.
