From the moment everyone stepped foot inside, we were all in awe, of the space, details of each room, the views from the rooms and balconies. The kids enjoyed their time in the play room and bunk beds, we saw them when it was time to eat or they needed snacks. Many games, and activities that kept them busy and smiling. The house was dictated with a beautiful Christmas tree and other decor that kept the spirit going. We canoed on the lake, did some fishing, the neighbors caught a big ol one, had snores on the grill and just enjoyed each activity. The drive up from dallas was none other than quick, and we will certainly be back in the summer. Thank you to the wonderful host, as they were great communicators before, during and after our stay!

The place is spacious and nicely kept! Good for family get together. We like that they had a lot of seating and entertainment (inside and outside of the place). The one thing that was not listed was there are a lot of stairs! We brought an elderly grandma with limited mobility. It was hard getting her into the living room and kitchen which was downstairs. We had a great time at the place!

The house and location cannot be beat! Fishing and canoeing in the back yard. The hosts left us chocolate chip cookies which the kids loved. The beach is just a short drive down the road. Everything was clean and beautiful!!!!

We rented two of the houses for a weekend family gathering. The property is very nice with lots of space and lots to do. The kids loved canoeing and swimming in the pond. I would not recommend fishing as there were just way too many turtles. The owner answered all of my questions promptly and allowed us a late check out. My only complaints would be that the houses are not as well stocked as many of the places I've stayed and essential items like brooms, hand towels, and other basics that you would expect for a large group stay were not provided. However, between the two houses we were able to manage. I will also say that the tone and some of the language in some of the instructions we recieved were very condescending and off-putting. Things like "treating the home as if God himself lived there". Otherwise, it was a wonderful weekend and we appreciate them sharing their homes.

I booked 2 of the side-by-side town homes for my daughter's wedding in September. I wanted a place we could gather together. I felt these rentals would better suit that requirement than a hotel. We were able to gather in each of the homes in the living rooms. The town homes were supplied better than the description stated. We did have a few minor issues that were resolved quickly with a phone call to the owner who has a local housekeeper available. The housekeeper was prompt, friendly and efficient to resolve the issues. I would recommend the townhomes for a getaway location. Lake Texoma is close for outdoor activities as well as restaurants and bars.
The only problems I feel need to be specifically mentioned are the lack of closet space on the master bedrooms and floors in both houses. Each closet was locked. There wasn't a designated clothes hanging space on either of the main floors. Didn't consider that to be a huge problem until trying to hang a wedding dress. It's a really big deal (to me but maybe not you). Also, the stairs for the 3-level locations may be a problem for people--so keep that in mind. Lastly, the decking along the back of the townhouses had been destroyed during spring storms. I was made aware of this and chose to keep the booking. I bet it will be spectacular when it's repaired.

Memories made for a lifetime
We were looking for a meeting spot in the middle for our family to have a little mini vacation. What we found was a hidden Gem. The rental was over the top. Floors to ceilings perfectly done. Although we are all out of shape and realized none of us want a 3 story home, we would not have been able to enjoy the stunning views that this condo has to offer. We didn’t not catch any fish but would not trade watching the grand children Lear to cast out a line for the first time. It had enough amenities we really didn’t need to ever leave. Thank you so much for memories that will last a life time.
In the words of our 4 year old grand son, “Best days of my entire life”

Great get away with one warning
The property was amazing, everyone was super impressed with how awesome the house was. The owners were very nice and very responsive via phone. The house was clean and very inviting, tons of space for our 10 person group. The outdoor areas were really nice, but could have used a good spray down before guests arrive as they were covered with webs and giant spiders. The only issue we really had was that we discovered there were BED BUGS in the bunk room. We noticed the last day we were there after thinking one of my guests was having an allergic reaction to the detergent since no one else had any bites (the other guests that stayed in that room had bites show up later that week). None of the guests that stayed in other rooms had any bites and we were only able to find any bed bugs on the bunk beds. I let the owner know of that issue which they said they were going to take care of. Hopefully that is true, but for anyone coming after us, please double check before letting your guests stay in that room!

The house was perfect for our family of 13 members ranging from ages 1 to 61. House had everything we needed. We are familiar with Tanglewood and Highport so it was perfect for us. The carpet was dirty; everything else was clean and fresh.

There is a good Mexican food place next to Dollar General and a pizza place we didn’t try but if you don’t want to cook is easy and quick to get to. The owner was super nice and quick to respond. We came to spend some quality time with our 5 kids ranging in age from 10-19 and this property did not disappoint. The pond is fantastic. We canoed, paddle boarded, swam, grilled, had fires, made s’mores, watched the birds, and even played hide and seek in the house. Many good hiding spaces, FYI. Fred was very communicative and answered questions promptly. We made some great memories and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Fun getaway
The townhome was beautiful and we really enjoyed our quick escape from reality. It was so nice having the pond right off the townhome. My daughters and husband spent one full day just fishing, canoeing, and paddle boating. Will come back again to do more exploring.
