The location of this property was wonderful. The views were amazing and serene as it overlooked the sound. The feel of the property is traditional quaint beach house reminding me of our childhood at the beach. The host Richard phoned me to let me know details of the property and where to find everything. We had a wonderful time in this spacious home. Thank you for aharing your home with us.

Spacious rooms with a cozy summer cottage feeling and a traditional eclectic decor. A well-equipped kitchen with comfortable seating options. Highly recommend and would consider returning.

Gorgeous views. Outdoor furniture pictured on ad was not there on the lawn. Keys hidden in a fake rock were terrible trying to open the door. We had to purchase DW40 to try to open the door. The air-conditioners were not working well, and found to be dirty, and we had to wash the filters. Wet towels in the wash, and a load of towels also in the dryer, which we had to fold and put away. The dryer was overly full of lint. Had to rewash the towels left behind, and had to rewash whoever left dishes in the dishwasher. And guess what??? We paid you for cleaning fee. You should pay us for the cleaning we did. We are going back to other rentals who don't charge so much for "cleaning".

This was our second time staying at this property for our family vacation with our daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren. The house is right across the street from the beach! So convenient for everyone in our group. The house is large enough for each family to have their own bathroom. It offers lots of space for gathering together or for finding a quiet spot if needed. The host was very quick to respond to questions or concerns.

My family stayed here toward the end of June. We enjoyed the very quiet neighborhood and the wonderful views.
The house was spacious and very comfortable. Our one concern was fixed promptly.
My one suggestion would be that if you are bringing small children, also bring black out shades as there are no shades in the upstairs bedrooms and it is still light out at bed time and the sun comes up early.

The house was exactly what we needed. Roomy, clean and well stocked. The fishermen in the family had one of their best fishing days ever catching striped bass and Tautog off of the pier. The photographer loved taking pictures of sunrise, sunset and Long Island Sound. One person even swam! Perfect for biking too. Also nice that the town is open so there are plenty of dining and shopping options.

The house was comfortable and cozy. The views were wonderful with the ever changing weather, whether it was misty, foggy or sunny and warm. The days actually moved slower than expected which was a plus for us. Richard was a wonderful and understanding host. I would recommend renting it.

We loved this house! Comfortable, roomy, super clean, well appointed and the location is stunning. Woke up every day to the soothing sound of the waves coming from the beautiful ocean. Richard is an excellent host, returned my emails and calls immediately from start to finish. We cannot wait to return to this fabulous property! Thank you Richard!

This is a roomy home located right across from Long Island sound. We all had our own area to sleep (5). Weather was perfect. We spent a day in Mystic which was fun. All the restaurants we tried were fabulous as we were after seafood and more seafood. The owner has great communication with you as there were a couple things we had to contact him about. Response was immediate and all was well. I highly recommend and I lost count on the beds upstairs. If someone has children the room is there for them. Neighbors in area very welcoming and all around we loved it.

Great views out the windows of this house! Perfect location for us to stay to celebrate my sisters wedding at Saybrook Point! Richard was a great host and checked in to make sure everything was ok during the weekend. We had a wonderful time! Thank you again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property! We had a mini family reunion and there was plenty of room for the twelve of us. One of our favorite things to do was just sit on the patio and look at the view while having our morning coffee.
