Our weeklong vacation to visit family was a bust, because I caught a nasty cold on day 1, which meant I spent most of my time at the property. Thankfully, it’s a bright and very comfortable place to be. It was warm enough in the sun to sit on the deck midday and watch squirrels and hummingbirds. The sofa bed in the living room allowed us to sleep separately, so my husband didn’t catch my cold. The location, close to the beach, Hermosa Greenbelt Trail, restaurants, and more, allowed him to have some fun without totally abandoning me. Now, we have to go back, be healthy, and have a real vacation.

Our stay was very comfortable. The views of sunsets from the living room were outstanding. Bed was very comfortable. Great location. Very walkable to Redondo Pier and other attractions.

This place was PERFECT.
Smaller on the inside but not lacking anything!
Awesome outdoor spaces to relax, private & cozy, ocean view from the couch and
THE BEST location! Each day we explored a different LA community and it was never too far from home base. So central! 10-20 minutes from anything you want! We spent a day @ SoFi, a day in Venice, a day in Long Beach and a day in Hollywood. We were always happy to be going back to this place to relax and refresh.
Not for more than 2-3 people but I would encourage it for any small group.

Cozy home, bit further from the beach than I thought. No bikes available, that was a bit dissapointent.
Too pricey for wat you get. Even everything in the house (detergent, toiletpaper etc) was very tight. Poor value for money.

The main photo of the ocean views was a zoomed in picture so the beach is further than anticipated.
The plumbing issues caused us to have no hot water to shower on the last day and night that we were there. The gas was turned off to our stove top and oven on one day. The pilot light on the heater was not lit so we could not turn on the heat. A barking dog in the neighbors yard was unpleasant. The place was immaculate and kudos to the cleaning crew. Bring your own bath soap.

The heater in this rental is very old and has a CONSTANT noise and every approximate hour or so a LOUD bang which really startled us the first couple of times and then we just put up with it. We have several vacation rentals that we manage and also own in Hawaii and they are well stocked with essentials such as soap, shampoo, conditioner etc. in the shower this rental had NONE. Two rolls of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels causing us to conserve and ended up barely being enough, two coffee mugs so I used a glass for my coffee. The access was blocked two nights so we had to park on the street and a white car at the bottom of the alley way at times was parked so close to the narrow alley way we scraped the bottom of the front bumper going over a jagged piece of concrete. The communication by the host was not performed by the host in a timely manner. There is a dog next door that barks quite a bit at different times of any given day. We stayed at three other rentals while on this trip and gave them a 5 Starr rating because they were well stocked in fact two of them were “over the top”. This rental is overpriced in a crowded compact neighborhood the three homes around it are approximately 25 feet away and this rental is quite old with a noisy heater.

Great location
This location was perfect for visiting LA and beyond, our trip stretched from Ventura to San Diego. It was nice to be able to walk down to the beach and to local restaurants and shops. Nice to have the garage, a full kitchen and laundry facilities. The only thing I that could make it better would be a ceiling fan in the bedroom for hotter days and a laundry basket. Be careful pulling I to the driveway with a low car and be on the lookout for the skunk that can sometimes be in the small yard.

Perfect Spot
Such a great treehouse bungalow! View of ocean and sunset, private raised patio, garage parking and every amenity we needed. Walked to pier and surrounding areas. Our only wish was for more local restaurants and a grocery within walking distance. Trader Joe’s and tons of restaurants and bars within a few miles drive though-We will be back!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO property in Redondo Beach. It was extremely clean which made me feel very comfortable. We had everything we needed, but property was not cluttered, but well supplied. Washer and Dryer were a nice convenience.

Matt always replied very quickly and had an easy check in / check out process. The location was also great - easy/short drives to nearby beaches including Hermosa, Venice, and Santa Monica. We also travelled to Malibu for a day and the drive was less than an hour!
It was also a great location to travel to LA and the Hollywood area - 40 min to an hour drive away. We loved coming back to this quant area to relax after busy days of traveling and exploring. Just be aware that there is no AC. This wasn’t a problem for us because we were gone during the heat of the day, and at night it cooled down to a comfortable temperature. We would definitely stay here again!

Quiet & Beautiful Neighborhood
Los Angeles is a big and busy city and it was great to come back to South Redondo every evening for a peaceful rest to get ready for the next exciting day. The beach & pier area nearby was great when we wanted to have a quiet day away from the more crowded Venice and Santa Monica beaches. We loved our stay !

Great beach city stay
The property was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and everything worked. We even used the heater a couple of mornings (even though we’re from Minnesota).
Matt was easy to work with. Questions were answered quickly
Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean The kitchen has what you’d need for cooking though we didn’t. You do want a smaller car to fit into the garage easily. We had a Corolla and it was perfect. Great location in town short walk to the pier and even closer to a couple of Thai restaurants and the Cosy Cafe on the PCH. Bring your appetite to the Cosy (and cash).
Refonfo beach made a great home base to explore Hermosa Beach, LA, Hollywood, Santa Anita Park and Laguna Beach.
Recommend the beachcomber cafe in Newport Beach and crystal cove state park A bit of work to get to it but worth it.
Again, we loved the place and would stay here again in a minute. The neighborhood is safe and very family oriented.

Just what we needed
My husband and I needed a place to stay while visiting family in the area and also wanted to feel like we were on vacation. This rental property was perfect. Located in a quiet neighborhood and detached from the owner's house (in front) made it feel very private. Matt was very responsive to our needs, but otherwise left us alone. Having two bicycles at our disposal was a bonus and we enjoyed riding to nearby restaurants and along the beach in both Redondo and Hermosa Beaches. Since the unit is above a garage, it affords a great view over neighboring rooftops of the ocean and sunsets. We also took advantage of the attached and very private-feeling deck for dining and just hanging out. The unit was exceptionally clean, the bed comfortable, and the kitchen well appointed; we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here on our next visit if it is available.
