Hotel Himalayan Vacation

Liked the hospitality. Kind owners. Delicious breakfast! Owner made separate breakfast for my ill friend.

We stayed for 7 days and had a wonderful experience. Uncle was extremely helpful, and Aunty was so friendly that she felt more like a friend than a hotel host. And her Alu Paratha was amazing! The location is excellent, with the boat station and taxi stand right in front, shopping, souvenir and trekking shops nearby, and a Halal restaurant just 150 meters away. The Phewa Lake view from the room and balcony was beautiful, and on clear days you can see the Himalayan range too. We also booked our activities through the hotel and received excellent service. International cards and Alipay are accepted as well. Great location, beautiful views, wonderful people, and excellent service. Highly recommended if you're visiting Pokhara. ❤️

Honestly, there wasn't much we didn't like during our stay. We stayed for 7 days and felt very comfortable throughout, although the Himalayan mountain view depends on clear weather.

My room is at 4th floor and there is no lift facility if you come with your family there is some problem related to safety because there is little space for going to other side of rooms

The hotel staff and the property owner were very welcoming and genuinely hospitable. The breakfast was quite simple but delicious. The location was also very convenient, being close to the lake. They have their own travel agency as well, so you can easily arrange various activities and trekking directly through them.

However, the hotel itself is quite old and seems to have passed its prime. It is run entirely by a family with very few staff, and the overall management is not up to the mark. Although the staff were polite and friendly, the room management was disappointing. Upon check-in, I was informed that the AC in the room was not working. While they did offer a discount, I had not booked a non-AC room in the first place. Cleanliness was a major concern. There were visible stains on the bed and towels. The floor felt sticky and sandy. Most disturbingly, I found a dead, flattened fly under the pillow, something that clearly indicates the bed linen had not been changed for a long time. There was only one power socket near the bedside, which was already occupied by a standing fan. I had to charge my phone from a higher socket, leaving it hanging awkwardly. Overall, I am quite disappointed. It is a beautiful property with great potential, but poor management is holding it back, which is truly unfortunate.
