This place was perfectly located at the end of Bourbon Street. A short walk to the main attractions but far enough for a quiet night. Really enjoyed the location and loved the room!

It’s not the Ritz. But it is a comfortable condo with a fabulous location. If only it was cleaner. Eric, the host, was helpful and responsive.

Space was great for our stay while we wondered the streets of the French quarter! There was some mold around the shower widow but that is expected and also parking was a bit sketchy. No parking at the location but within 8 blocks there was a decent place, concern during our stay cars were broken into.

It is perfectly situated in a relatively quiet neighborhood & convenient for walking to the French Quarter & Frenchman Street. BUT, improvements should be made to several areas that sadly, have been mentioned in previous reviews for a long time but have continued to be neglected. For example, fix the rocking toilet! Spend some money at Walmart & buy matching towels & wash cloths that don’t feel like sandpaper. Replace the shower head, shower curtain liner, & bath mat. Fix the hinge on the overhead door in the bathroom so it doesn’t fall onto a guest if they try to open it (while looking for more towels or toilet paper). Replace the Amazon fire stick in the TV, or replace with a smart TV so that guests can log into their Netflix or Amazon accounts. Clean the black mold off the kitchen wall by the refrigerator. These are suggestions, not complaints. They are EASY fixes that would boost your ratings & be more consistent with the inherent charm of your property & a 5-Star VRBO rating. If we see in future reviews that these issues are corrected, we would definitely return!

Authentic New Orleans
Wonderful stay at this authentic NOLA property. Awesome location right off the French Quarter and easy walk to Frenchman St. Only negative was really bad pillows.

Absolutely beautiful and refreshingly authentic to the feel of NOLA. Conveniently located near the French Quarter - close enough to do everything, far enough to sleep peacefully. Smooth checkin and checkout, Owner and property manage are amazing.

Great location and value for money.
Comfortable bed, large rooms overall especially the bed/sitting room.
Bathroom -toilet needs to be tighten to the floor and shower pressure was minimal (and hot water takes quite awhile). A larger vanity space for toiletries would have been helpful.
Also needs written instructions for the TV and the heat/cool system.
Overall, great stay.

Had A Good Stay
Eric was very good to work with. Check in and out was smooth. Had a couple of minor issues with linens which were taken care of quickly. For what we were looking for it was great as a location and we had a good stay. Close to Frenchmen St. and the Quarter. We were there during the National Championship game weekend but the room was very quiet even though it was on Bourbon St.
The street is well lit and well traveled.but another thing that comes with the location is that there are a lot of street people. We got panhandled by three different men that were sitting on the building entrance in one day. Another day a man was sleeping in the building doorway. One night two men who didn't have a key tried to get in the building behind us . These incidents were an annoyance but we never felt threatened or unsafe. As a man I felt safe walking alone late at night but my wife didn't.

Convenient location in quiet neighborhood
We stayed in this property for five days during Christmas week. A cute, clean and spacious studio apartment. Excellent location. Convenient to French Quarter, and restaurants and clubs on Frenchman Street in the Marigny. Owner recommended parking (parking not on premises) worked out very well. A new mattress would have made sleeping more enjoyable.

Good location and very basic
Location really is very good and we felt safe. Check in was clear and straight forward. The condo was equipped with the very basics. We did find the condo clean, however the floors were not, the toilet was wobbly and should be fastened down properly, the bed has a memory foam on top of the mattress but was comfy for the most part and the pillows absolutely need to be replaced. We would recommend staying here but bring pillows.

Overall good experience. Our first booking through Vrbo. Property was as described. Several minor issues that if attended to would have made it a perfect "10." Nothing that kept us from enjoying our stay or the accommodations.

Invest some money in the bathroom! The shower water temperature was cold and the knob is broken. The toilet moves when you sit on it. The bed was comfortable, the location was great! The AC worked great! The kitchen was adequate.

Esplanade condo
The property was very easy to find and access. I felt very secure the entire time. We did have an issue with the cable service/TV and the property manager was very prompt to fix the problem. The building is of course old, but has modern updates yet keeping the quaint authenticity of the area. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!!

Great Place!
This condo was the perfect place to stay. It is clean and beautiful. It is close to all the action but far enough away that it was quiet at night. Two of the best bars were right down the street and there were several food markets nearby as well.
Eric was wonderful to us and very fast to respond. He gave us some ideas of things to do on our first night which was a blessing because it was a little overwhelming! We would stay here again!

Perfect spot.
The room is beautiful. It's the second time I have stayed in that building. The location is perfect. Only downside I had was I had parked next to the building to drop stuff off and grab something to eat and I received a $75 parking ticket because I wasn't a resident. That was disappointing. Otherwise, it was great.

French Quarter Apartment
Eric was very kind to deal with. He responded immediately even when I lost my cell phone! He provided us with excellent guidance regarding the area. The architecture on the street and of the home is lovely.The apartment could use an upgrade. There is a strong smell of mildew.

This was a ladies weekend getaway and we all enjoyed our stay at this location. The suite had everything we needed. Good area to be able to walk to all the streets worth seeing. Would recommend this suite to anyone. Only downside was we didn't like parking so far away, ( questionable part of town) so make sure you unload your car first and then go and park.

My partner and I had booked this apartment and trip away to celebrate our engagement. As we were arriving from the UK the housekeeper kindly met us to give us the keys. The apartment is exactly how it's described. Totally idyllic and perfect for the two of us. The location was a huge bonus as we had no idea just how close we were to the centre of the French Qtr (10 min walk) or music of Frenchman Street but far enough away from the total hustle and bustle so that we could get a good sleep. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean and beautifully furnished. We are definitely going to be recommending this condo to all our friends and family who come to New Orleans.

We went down for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday. I could tell from the pictures that this place was going to be nice, but my expectations were completely blown away! The condo was not only beautiful, but also in the perfect location. We were close enough to walk to almost everything, but far enough to not be disturbed when we wanted some peace and quiet. This condo was absolutely perfect for our romantic getaway (we got engaged!) and couldn't have been more perfect.

My wife and I enjoyed a perfect spring break staying in this property. It is a short walk into the heart of the French Quarter and a very short walk to the music and bars on Frenchmen St. The condo is perfectly decorated and while it could use a kitchen table to eat meals, there is a table in the courtyard that I utilized every day. I would recommend this rental to any couple looking to stay close to the action but without all the noise at night. We loved it!

We spent a long weekend in New Orleans for our 1st anniversary. The condo has a perfect location between Bourbon St. and Frenchman St. We walked everywhere and didnt need a car the entire weekend. Taxi cabs are easily available if needed for the trip to and from the airport. The condo is exactly how it is described and has plenty of room. There are a few small grocery stores within walking distance. Remember to have cash on hand since some of the smaller stores do not accept credit/debit cards. Tara was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. We will definitely recommend this condo to any of our family and friends that want to explore New Orleans.

Tara was incredibly helpful and friendly in all of our conversations. The apartment was stunning, perfect for a birthday trip for my girlfriend. It was impeccably clean and looks exactly as described. The apt is in walking distance from everything you'd want to see, but still a good distance away from the rowdiness of bourbon street. We will definitely stay again!

The condo was just as pictured. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was nice with everything we needed. Being from Colorado I never thought I would be cold in New Orleans; however, it was pretty cold when we arrived. Tara thoughtfully arranged for a space heater to be available for our use. We definitely appreciate that and did have a comfortable stay.
The location near Frenchman Street was perfect! I really loved the restaurants in the area and it was very nice having several non-smoking bars nearby. We were glad to be far enough away from the Bourbon Street noise (so we could sleep) though close enough to walk there. We definitely did not need a car.
I would definitely recommend this property and will plan to stay here again in the future when we visit New Orleans.

Tara was a pleasure to deal with- and the location was perfect- quiet street- well treed- and close to the French quarter and Frenchmen Street- where the music scene happens in NOLA. Great Apartment- plenty of warm water for showering- functional kitchen- and comfortable bed....BUT, be prepared with warm clothing if the temperature is below 10 C, as the high ceilings and drafty windows/doors and lack of insulation will make the apartment cold. All in all, I would stay there again, but hope for warmer weather next time!
