Beautiful property and excellent location. Loved how close it was to the beach and pools and hot tub were great too. The landscaping at the property was beautiful. We loved our stay and would definitely go back.

Our family was visiting for a soccer tournament, and the location was perfect! 10 mins from Surf Sports Park and just a short walk to the private beach access across the street.
The unit was clean, updated, and the beach decor made me feel like I was back in my home town of the Jersey Shore.
Warren was great in communicating, and is even helping to return an item left behind. Great space for our family as easy drives to Legoland, Sea World and other spots. Lots of great food within walking distance.
Kid's loved all sharing a room and lots of games/activities and beach toys for the kids to use.
Definitely will look to stay again during our next SD visit!

It’s a nice property away from the city. Fun cute places to eat close by and the beach being close is a huge plus. The property itself could use a few improvements just from normal wear and tear but the area is perfect and the heated pool being close was great too.

Great condo near the solana beach
We had a great time staying at Warren's condo. The place was clean, plenty of room for our family of 5 and the location was great as well. Warren is very responsive to answer our questions. It's a great choice for families with kids that want to hang out at the beach that's not too crowded or noisy. The listing description was accurate but there were a few things we did not know before so I thought I'd share here so others would be aware. There are not cons by any means, just good to know during your trip planning.
- The condo was clean and had almost everything we needed, but it's pretty dated, like the typical condos from the 60s/70s, and it seems like most of the condos around solana beach were in similar style. So if you are looking for something modern or contemporary, this is not it, but it worked perfectly fine for our family stay.
- There's no AC in the condo. We did not know that before arrival, and apparently there's no AC in any of the beach front condos in this area. It's probably common knowledge for the locals, but as a visitor it was a surprise. SD weather is so nice most of the time this is not going to be an issue, so you might want to keep your windows open so the outside cool air can get in and turn on the fans. We didn't know this and had our windows closed and it got to around 80 degrees in the afternoon in the upstairs bedrooms. After we learned this we kept our windows open and fans on and it was perfectly fine.
- This unit is part of a gated subdivision (beach club) right next to the beach that has private access to the beach, the subdivision has 2 sections, one section right next to the beach, and another section away from the beach, separated by 2 automated gates and a public road (not too busy but has some traffic). This unit is in the section away from the beach, but the total walk time is about 10 minutes from the unit to the beach, so not too far at all.
Overall we had a great time and would definitely consider contacting Warran again if we go back to SD. Highly recommend this place!

We loved having a separate space for the kids with their own bathroom. Everything we needed to enjoy the beach and pool was provided. We liked being in easy driving distance to LEGOLAND, the Safari Park, and several other local beaches. Great location across the street from a spectacular beach. Surfing is an easy walk. So are plenty of nice restaurants and coffee shops. Easy ride to UCSD, Scripps, etc. Property manager is very communicative and helpful. Place is spacious and comfortable. Great place to stay!

even with the construction going on the townhome was lovely and peaceful. , pools were great. lovely temperature and the locals very friendly. The Beach access was easy just across the street. so easy to drive into downtown SD
with lots of local restaurants in Del Mar

All good except having to deal with construction on the tennis courts and garages No fault to our mgr he did all he could to help get us around it. Even met us at the gate to walk us through it all.

If you want a clean, spacious, easy walk to the beach property than this is it!!! The gated community is an extra feature. I can't say enough about this property. And communication with the manager was easy, just a quick text. I would definitely stay here again.

This condo is exactly as pictured and was just perfect for a family vacation. We spent a week and a half with two young kids and it was totally perfect. The condo had enough space for us all and it was awesome to be able to cook meals. While there are plenty of restaurants close by, it was really great to have a full kitchen to cook stress free meals after long beach days. The facilities were perfect... very easy beach access, multiple heated swimming pools and hot tubs. I also found the property manager, Warren, to be exceptionally helpful and very responsive. He made sure we were totally comfortable and went out of his way to be flexible and accommodating. All in all, it was a perfect vacation. We were all sad to leave and can't wait to come back.

CONS:
-the kitchen really needs some new pots and pans
-sheets constantly fall off of the master bed because of the type of mattress protector
-finding the key to the condo was the most stressful hunt I’ve ever been on. I will leave instructions below....

Finding the key to the condo was AWFUL. The instructions on how to do so are completely useless. Not even joking. If it weren’t for our friends who also rented a condo here having the same experience, we wouldn’t have found the keys.
There are two different entrances to the condos as there are two sides, one on each side of the street. This condo is not on the ocean side, so when you look for the keys you will need to travel down the street quite a ways and there will be stairs up to a big cabinet full of lock boxes on the ocean side of the street. This “building” doesn’t have a door, but you still need to pay attention to find it. Once you locate it, it’s easy breezy from there!

Great condo! Very clean and close to everything we needed.
We loved the condo. It was super clean and had everything we needed. There are 4 pools, so we loved just hanging out in the pool. The one we used was just around the corner of our condo. You have full access to all pools, tennis court and fitness room. The beach is just across the street and the kids loved that too. The Del Mar fair was going on and we were able to walk to that. That was a great plus for our vacation. Check in was easy and management was very nice. There are many restaurants within walking distance or a very short drive. We also loved that each bedroom had a TV plus a TV in the living room. I would highly recommend this condo and we are planning to come back next year. Great time! Great place! Super Clean!

We really had a great vacation, everything was good, clean and comfortable.my kids really enjoyed.
The property was good, it was really convenience to have a nearest access to the pool and to the beach . The rooms In the house was clean and comfortable . Exepteble bedroom bed, I will suggest to change the mattress it was not comfortable for us .owerall Thank you ! I wish to have this home for my next vacation again .

Terrible! Reconsider if you were thinking of booking.
If I could give a zero star rating I would. I am appalled that this is classified as a "Preferred Partner". The unit is so disgusting and dirty as well as in need of a significant amount of maintenance. An updated kitchen doesn't offset the terrible state of everything else. NOT a place my husband and I would recommend. We were extremely disappointed with everything including the communication from the property manager(s). The check in/check out was quite disorganized.
I sent a letter, as well as a follow up to the property manager's direct e-mail address after our trip outlining the issues we experienced and did not even receive an apology at the very least. Be wary! This is the worst VRBO property we have ever stayed at. Do not be fooled by the other reviews as we were.
Routine maintenance, upkeep, and good housecleaning service would have made this property a five star. Unfortunately this was not the case.

It was very clean and easy to get to places
The place was overall nice. It was very clean. It was easy to get to places(groceries,train, beach). We only had a few concerns. The beds were not very comfy. The king bed had a big lump in it. The bathroom deal with soap/conditioner was empty. We had issues finding the keys when got there and then we were told we needed a pass to park our car. There wasn't a pass anywhere. The owners said we didn't need one. We ended up cancelling our car so didn't need it. We could also hear the neighbors at times. But, otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Really Nice Place
The property was as advertised - was perfect for a family vacation. The kitchen was very nice, but there was a problem with the refrigerator and freezer, which we alerted the owners to. The bed broke the first night at 3 am, but I was able to fix it, but probably needs to be reinforced.
The complex was just beautiful, with the view from the clubhouse and pool decks just lovely. We would definitely do it again.

Del Mar condo was very good
We loved the location of the condo. The access to the beach and the pools was perfect. Stores were relatively close (by car) and the place was clean. Our family of five had plenty of room and the king size bed was super comfy. Some issues were that the stove burners seemed to work intermittently....and only two of the four worked at all. The BBQ outside would not light as the igniter switch didn't work. If you plan to use it bring (or buy) a lighter....which we didn't have. We also went to start a load of laundry and for some reason the breaker tripped. That cut power to most of the house, including the fridge. FYI, the breaker box is right outside of the front door around a small wall. I hit the switch and everything was good....it just took a while to find the box. We also noticed that throughout the condo there are a few light bulbs that are either burned out, or not working. These aren't major things by any means...and we really enjoyed the place. It could just use some attention in those areas.

Comfortble and great location
Wonderful place to stay very. Very spacious for families and convenient, awesome amnesties, walk to the beach, close to shops & restaurants with out the hassle of traffic even during peak traffic hours and a very good professional management team operating the vacation rental.

Very nice condo!!
My family and I felt really at home in this condo. It was very clean and exactly as described. The beach was a little further than the pictures showed but was still only a 10 min walk down to the beach. The beach was very private and our kids had a blast there. The pools and hot tub were also very close and we appreciated the use of the beach toys and boogie baords and the area was very quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Family Vacation
This VRBO was in a great location, with enough space for my husband, myself and our three young kids. Across the street from the ocean, great walking trails just out the door and only 5 minutes off the freeway for easy access to the many attractions San Diego has to offer.
The decor was very well done and really got us into our beach vacation state of mind.

The property was great!! As advertised. A trip my family will not forget
All of the photos were legit. The condo is in the Del Mar beach club, which has 2 separate enterances across the street from each other. Our keys worked for both sides. There were 4 pools, 2 of which were heated. The 2 heated pools were great for the kids. Also the property has a hot tub on each side. The views from Del Mar beach club of the ocean are amazing!! Wasn't sure there was wifi or cable, but there was!!! The unit also had 3 big flat screen tv's!! The area around Solana Beach and Del Mar had so many places to eat. We didn't even discover some of the stuff very close by until right before we left. Great place, great location!

Great for families
We had a wonderful time at this condo. We came in the winter, it was a little cold at times but we were provided space heaters. It comes stocked with sand and pool toys which my kids loved.

Beautiful condo, awesome location!!
My daughter and I stayed with my best friend and her husband. The condo had everything we needed for a great vacation. It's beautiful and roomy. Everything in the kitchen so we could eat in sometimes. Washer and dryer which is awesome when you're going to the beach and the have everything you need for the beach as well. The area and location is awesome. There is a small beach across the street from the condo. The complex has 2 oceanfront pools as well as an observation area where you can sit and enjoy it the sunrise, the sunset and the surfers. You're a short drive or Uber ride (as we opted) to Old Town, La Jolla cove, the USS Midway and many other attractions. You're just a short walk to Dog Beach where you can look for sea shells or walk the beach to Del Mar beach and enjoy some great restaurants and shopping . There's a several delicious restaurants in the area. Around the corner is Uik-Korner deli, they have awesome sandwiches and very inexpensive. Also around the corner is Brigantine Del Mar seafood and oyster bar. Food was delicious, and price was average for the area. Make sure to get a reservation, they get busy. You must go to the Del Mar Plaza for the day. Great shopping, restaurants and the view are truly amazing! Jennifer the property manager and Gary the owner were the best! If you needed anything they were right on top of it. We all loved this condo and would highly recommend it and we hope to be back!

Very nice 2 bed in Solana Beach. Good location with plenty of parking. Roomy and furnished nicely. Definitely would stay there again.
