Beautiful boutique hotel, clean, bright and the pool was lovely. Breakfast at the cafe outside was very good. Would definitely stay there again

We liked everything about the hotel. Clean and comfortable with helpful, friendly staff.
Lovely fresh fruit in our room on arrival. Fluffy towels for the poolside. Ironing board, with iron, bonus! Small snacks in mini bar, all very reasonably priced, too. Pity our stay wasn't longer. It was literally an overnight stay before the airport.

For the price, Akaya was a nice small hotel. The staff were friendly. The pool was clean and the location was great. A good amount of storage and good aircon. The location is excellent, so close to the beach and good restaurants.
The bed was extremely unconformable. The hot water took a good 3 minutes. My room was tired with marks and stains. The breakfast was okay but very average compared to the actual cafe menu. I also got the room next to the staff/cleaners room. It was noisy and I had workers walking past my room constantly - so it did not feel private and had to keep my blinds closed at all times.
