Quaint coaching inn near centre of Amersham. Excellent breakfast across the road at the Crown Hotel.
Parking is on the public road, so not guaranteed, or in one of two nearby paid carparks.

Location in Old Amersham, pretty gardens.
Mattresses need a mattress topper so you can’t feel the springs.

A nice pleasant stay at the property in a good comfortable bed at a location with a great host and also handy for getting into London
Shame the parking up the road was no longer available

Room was attractive and clean and easy to access. The lady in the bar who gave us the key was friendly.
Our room did look quite different to the airy upper floor rooms shown on the listing. Our room was on the ground floor, small with the low ceiling of an old building of this kind. It opened out directly onto the street but it wasn't as noisy as we feared. The bathroom door did not fit the doorframe so could not shut fully. We also could not get the TV to pick up any network or signal. Some better lighting would be helpful as there were no bedside lights.
