Very spacious apartment, beautiful view, great location. Kitchen is well equipped, enough towels available

- The apartment was not cleaned properly, socks and dirty plasters were still in the couch - The large balcony was not accessible because the door is broken. Also leakage in the kitchen. A mechanic came by for this (without tools) and they would solve this quickly. Unfortunately, despite my request, nothing has been done about it or they have not informed us about this, so we could not all sit outside at the same time. - Right next to the apartment (15 meters) they are building a new apartment complex. We understand that this work must continue, but it is not nice to wake up at 7 a.m. 6 days a week during your holiday.

The property's really nice and big. All the bedrooms were big and the kitchen was well equipped. When we arrived we thought that the taxi driver will open the apartment for us but he didn't have any idea about this so we had to call the host and wait to get instructions on how to open the apartment. In one of the bedrooms the sheet wasn't that clean but they came the next day and fix the issue.

We found out how to measure the electricity only the next day so we weren't sure how much energy was initially. Also, what could we improve its to have somebody to come and give us new clean towels. As we stayed for 6 days there at least 3 days would have been nice to have new towels. Also, there wasn't enough toilet paper left in the apartment so we had to go and buy it by ourselves. In my opinion, it's nicer to increase the price of the apartment by 5 euro and left more necessary things in the apartment than putting your guests to go and buy them.

The Tas-Sellum apartment was spacious, with a lot of natural light and was perfect for our group of 8. One of the balconies has a beautiful view on the sea. The apartment is equipped with almost anything you need even for a longer stay. There is also a shared pool that you can use, however during our stay end of May the water was ice cold and there were bugs and dirt in the water. So it was nice to chill by the pool and take pictures but not so good for swimming. The residence itself is very beautiful. During our stay there were construction works that started very early in the morning and lasted for the whole time of our visit. That helped us get up early and go to the beach, which is about 20 minutes by foot. There is only a public beach nearby so be prepared for lots of kids and people selling stuff on the beach. Two sunbeds and one parasol costs 15 EUR from 9 til 5 and there is only the Toi-Toi toilet on the beach and it costs 1 EUR per use. The food on the beach kiosk is horrible so its better to take something with you or eat at a restaurant.

As for the cleanliness of the place, most of it was OK but all the dishes were dirty so we had to clean everything before use. You also have to separate the garbage but the place does not provide the necessary trash bags. The water pressure is horrible, so it might take you a lot of time to take a shower. We were particularly unhappy with the checkout, because we had to leave the place at 9am sharp which is complicated with a bigger group. The host offers to organize airport transfer, which went smoothy, however costs 15-20 EUR more than if you organize it yourself or just call an Uber - which works perfectly in Malta. Getting an invoice was a complicated process with the host.

Such a nice big clean place to spread out and enjoy great views of the Mediterranean! Had everything we needed, except warm enough weather to enjoy the pool. After traveling for a couple of weeks I enjoyed the peace and space to rest up and prepare for the rest of our trip. The boat tour to The Blue Lagoon was great too!

The pictures don't do it justice, huge apartment, plenty of space for everyone, stunning views, owners were really approachable and helpful and genuinely want you to enjoy your time there. Definitely will be returning!

The apartment was attractive, spacious, clean and comfortable with lovely views of the bay from the main balconies. There were plenty of towels and loo roll, and the place was well equipped with hairdryer, washing machine, drying racks, coffee machine and everything you might need. The swimming pool was lovely and the apartment had plenty of lightweight portable sun loungers we could take down in the lift.

Minor niggles really. There were not many plug sockets. Those that were there were English 3 pin sockets, but some supplied appliances including the kettle had 2-pin plugs. We had brought a couple of adaptors from home but they were not compatible with the 2 pins. Eventually we did find a couple of adaptors in the apartment - tucked away behind the chest of drawers in a bedroom - but should have been easier to find. The WiFi didn't work. It wouldn't connect to any of our devices, just kept sending us to a website with 'page not found'. With teenagers in tow that was a big minus! The hotel was tucked away at the end of the bay behind a (very quiet) building site and the taxi driver arranged by the hotel had no idea where it was so we spent ages driving around looking for it in the dark. When we arrived we were immediately charged 50 Euros for a late arrival. Whilst it was not their fault we arrived so late, the check-in time is very short (2-5pm)and incompatible with flight times so we felt this was a bit steep.

We have fed back to the owners some improvement ideas which would enhance the bathrooms at the property.

Phenomenal views and fantastic location, very close to the beach. Really great apartment. Big rooms, nice living room, kitchen and facilities to cook if needed. More facilities than expected were available in that there was a travel cot and mattress (wish we'd have realised before bringing our travel cot) and an extra pull out bed. Sunbeds to be taken to the pool were very nice and would be even more in the Summer months (pool was very cold for our stay - in May). It was a shame that we hadn't been told that there was a way to avoid the initial stairs to the lift with our luggage when we arrived but thankfully we asked Reception before we left and they enabled us to end our holiday on a high by taking the luggage in the lift to the garage to load our cars and not have to carry down the stairs for the last bit.

WIFI not great even before it went down completely due to a wider issue in the area in our last couple of days. Shower pressure not very good and not able to have any other water running whilst showering (including running the tap or using the other shower). The owner was very responsive and explained that this is due to the building rather than something that he is easily able to sort.
