Property was nice. Frying pan had baked on black frying residue and was warped high in the middle.
Wanted to watch TV, couldn't get it to work. Got to work once during the one day out of seven day stay, but never again. Overall a nice condo.

Located right next to Carlsmith Beach Park, with easy access from the pool to the beach. Safe, clean and friendly condo building. The resident manager is super friendly and helpful.

Property has all necessities. The pool looked stained at the bottom/not exactly inviting, and the apartment was clean but needed upkeep/mx items fixed. Otherwise, it was a solid place and a great price.

Nice and clean 2 bedroom property in a great location in Hilo. Next to a beach that you can walk to and close to 2 other beaches. Perfect for a family of 4 that wants to explore all the sites on the Hilo side. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this condo if you plan to visit Hilo.

Quiet. Right beside Carlsmith beach and turtles! Clean. Beds could use new mattresses. No air conditioning but the fans worked well for the week we were there

Beds were extremely uncomfortable. They taco’ed rolling us both into the middle. Horrible pillows. It was very hot but the fans were very loud but didn’t move the air at all.
Annoyingly they only provide one key to get into the elevator, in/out pool and gate to beach. What if you are at the pool and one family member wants to go to the room, then everyone else would be stuck inside the gated pool as you need a key to exit that area as well as to get back up the elevator.
Location was gorgeous though.

Not having access to the room when we arrived after a full day of travel was the worst. We could not find a motel with any vacancy, so we slept in the rental car the first night. We were able to gain access to the room around 9am the next day. We saw a couple roaches. We had to wash any dishes before we used them every time, because there was a cockroach in the utensil draw when we first opened it. Maunaloa shores is right next to the airport so it was very loud most of the time if the windows were open. No Air conditioning so we had to keep the windows open. The room was OK / clean. No TV in the bedrooms. and the radio did not work. The antenna was broken off.

Location is very convenient relative to Hilo airport and some of the key attractions such as volcano national park, kamauna caves, akaka falls, rainbow falls. it is also located next to Carlsmith beach park. Great communication from Vacasa and smooth check-in process.

The locations of this condo is so nice. But the furnitures, the decorations and kitchens facilities are so old.
If you can update all these mentioned facilities, the condo will be nice and comfortable.

We loved the location. Views of Maunaloa were great when it wasn’t raining. It rained a lot! Only reason I’m not giving a 5 is because the dishes are way too high for my son and elderly mother to reach and there was some mold on the shower curtain. I would stay here again, though.

The outside of the building isn’t much - needs some repair, fixing up in general. The unit, tho, is quite well done & cozy. Comfortable master bedroom & roomy 2nd bedroom. Full size kitchen & open dining, living area + balcony with a nice view. Great shower with plenty of hot water. Linen closet holds plenty of towels - very helpful. We felt like we were staying with folks who understand comfortable living.
Also, close to multiple good eateries -especially Ken’s Pancakes & Don’s Grill.

The place was very clean (and for the ridiculous cleaning fee I paid - it should be). But the couch has a bunch of stains. Spilled drink? leaky diaper? Other bodily fluids? Owner should, at minimum, buy a cover for it if they can't replace it. Bedroom carpets are also stained, but they've obviously been cleaned a LOT because the carpets are "crunchy" from the dried cleaning solution.

Older building so expect for some insects to get in, a bit of ants just kept all our food in the fridge and had no issue. There is a coin op. laundry machine on same floor, ac fan worked great, it gets very hot during the day.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à Hilo dans cet appartement. D’abord, excellent emplacement juste à côté du somptueux Carlsmith Park! L’appartement était grand, propre et somme toute bien équipé.
Les seuls petits inconforts seraient l’invasion de fourmis et le bruit de la circulation en soirée, mais nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour!

Nice apartment, met our needs. Love the easy access to Carlsmith beach park with swimming and snorkeling! The TV in the apartment didn’t appear to work.
