The staff is very friendly, location closer to train stations, room is bigger. The staff was kind enough to have us check in earlier than the original time as they had guests check out and they had our room cleaned faster so that we can put our stuff in before we go out.
we Booked this hotel so that breakfast is included. However, on weekends, breakfast starts later than usual and if guests have plans to check out early or leave to places like Meteora early in the morning, there is no breakfast. But there was a staff at that time and she was kind enough to provide us with milk and we made coffee. One more thing they could do better is brighten up the room lights...they are too dim and dull for my taste.

The room smelled to tobacco when we entered., and we found all windows open when the outside temperature was 2 celsius.

I booked an executive room on the fifth floor with a wondeful terrace overlooking at the iconic Athenean skyline. The room was very comfortable and very well decorated. Oniro City is a very well put together boutique hotel, perfectly positioned in the Kolonaki district with a plethora of shops and restaurants/cafes/bars around. An easy recommendation for a stay in the city.
One of the (various) windows of the room is placed on the skylight of the building facing the window of another room. We just kept the curtain closed though and there were many other windows to allow plenty of light in the room.

Our experience with the Oniro City hotel was absolutely fantastic.
Super clean, very satisfying service from the staff, breakfast is great, and the location is prime!
I very much recommend staying in this hotel.
We will definitely come back and stay there once again in our next visit to Athens.
The hotel is not very accessible for handicap nor young kids and babies that need a stroller. There are a few steps you need to climb in the entrance and the elevator is small.
But we managed.

We had a fantastic experience at the Oniro City Hotel. One of the best places we have stayed in Athens, the room was beautiful, and clean, and the staff was attentive and friendly; they made us feel at home. I have to mention also the excellent breakfast. Superb

Located a little off from the main area of Athens but still within walking distance. The rooms are very clean and updated. Service was so friendly. The breakfast is served a la carte with a decent selection of breakfast items that were mostly standard items but they did have some options that were more traditional Greek.
