A very nice house with well responsive host.

Strictly need to keep quiet from 10pm-8am.

I rarely write reviews because most places are fine, but I feel this listing is a bit of a special case, so I wanted to share my thoughts. The good parts: the house is equipped with everything you need, it’s not far from the train station, and it has a lot of beds, making it suitable for large groups. The price is reasonable, and I assume that’s why it’s often booked—especially since hostels and Airbnbs in Osaka have become expensive due to the influx of tourists and the Expo.

That said, there are a few things to keep in mind: the house is fairly old. Some parts of the floor are sunken, and many areas are not very clean (the couch, the pillows. the table, and especially the bathroom). I imagine it has hosted so many large groups that it’s become hard to keep clean. I’ve lived in and stayed at many places in Japan, and I feel the cleanliness doesn’t quite meet the usual Japanese standards. However, if you’re on a budget and just looking for a place to crash, it might still be okay. Also, note that the stairs only connect to one of the three bedrooms. The phone signal is weak, and you’ll need to rely on the Wi-Fi, which isn’t very stable either.

We had 5 people staying and no enough blankets for everyone. We didn’t want to have to contact to use certain things however property should have known with how many people were staying, blankets should have been accessible
