Wir waren auf unserer Motorradreise von Athen zurück nach Deutschland für drei Nächte hier zu Gast. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Zimmer waren tadellos.
Die Lage ist sehr zentral, die Metro fast vor der Tür. Tavernen direkt im Nahbereich um lecker zu Essen.
Das Frühstück war landestypisch, WLAN ohne Probleme.
Wir hatten nix auszusetzen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
Vielen Dank and das Team für den angenehmen Aufenthalt.

La posizione abbastanza vicino al centro raggiungibile anche a piedi. La fermata della metro A vicina all'albergo. Nei pressi possibilita' di mangiare ed inoltre in posizione abbastanza centrale per raggiungere anche i musei ed i siti. Ottima e varia colazione
Il rumore assordante del traffico soprattutto durante la notte che impediva anche di dormire (secondo la posizione della camera). Le vie del quartiere molto isolate con zone malfamate.

The staff are great and the breakfast is good (although the coffee is only average). It's right at Metaxourgeio metro and close to Omonia, and short metro rides to Syntagma, Monastiraki, and the Acropolis.
I 'upgraded' to a room with a sofa bed, which was only marginally bigger than a standard room, and the sofa bed was neither - really just a complicated cot. I should have stayed with a smaller room. I found the bed very hard.

The breakfast meant a good choice of varied dishes, the staff were very helpful, provided all the necessary info for a great stay, always ready to help, the room was rather small but this is very usual for Athens and other capital cities; the room had a great view over the nearby square, it was also very clean, the hotel provides secured parking facilities just around the corner, the location is a good one, too, just across the street from the metro station or within a 15-17 minute stroll to downtown.

We enjoyed Hotel Katerina - value for money, great location near metro and very helpful and friendly staff. We will stay there again. Breakfast was also good to start off the day.

Dated but clean hotel, friendly staff and comfortable facilities
The area had no reasonable night time restaurants and we were alarmed at the vicinity of a homeless community that were openly injecting and smoking drugs on the streets. We'd have preferred the knowledge about the local area ahead of confirming the booking and would imagine that for family bookings especially this would be completely inappropriate

Breakfast was delicious. Room clean and very cozy with wonderful view from balcony to Lykabetus hill. The location is very good as in 10 min you reach Omonia square and from there another 10-15 min to reach to Monastiraki. The staff is very friendly, kind and helpful.
The lifts are quite small, good for couples :)

great location close to train station. clean, felt very safe. the breakfast had what we needed. I would stay here again - especially if I needed to catch the train!

It is a hotel close to city center.the staff is very professional and breakfast is delicious.
The hotel is a little bit noisy due to the morning traffic, but they can’t do anything more in order to reduce it.it is better to have some ear plugs with you

Staff excellent, breakfast good. Entire hotel is spotless clean. Suitable for walking to the historical sightseeings. Metro station or buses for hop on hop off available very near to the hotel

The hotel is totally amazing, the room is convenient with lots of lights. There were lots of towels, tea kettle and extra pillow, a lot of mirrors. Staff is extremely nice and welcoming, drinks in lobby are delicious! It was extremely clean and smell good, furniture looks fresh and the hotel design is also fabulous for the small amount of money you pay for the room
Location is not really nice but close Hop-on Hop-off bus. I knew about it and staff informed me how to take care on unsafe streets
Breakfast can be with larger variety of hot dishes but if you are staying for 1-2 days it’s amazing

The Katerina was well located close to buses, shops and restaurants. Check in staff were very helpful and breakfast was excellent!

The staff was very helpful with special requests, responsive, and friendly. We loved our suite on the 7th floor. The breakfast each morning was healthy and filling. They didn't charge extra to park our rental car overnight. They helped us organize a mini van for a group at a much better rate than the tours we found online.
Our first room was very small for three people, with a rollaway bed added to accomodate a third guest, which took up the all the remaining floor space. We were able to move to a much larger suite for the rest of our visit. While the hotel was close to most every amenity, the surrounding neighborhood itself felt a little less secure.

The hotel is very well located in an easily accessible area from the airport. The hotel is not far from the heart of the city and has a very kind and friendly staff. Breakfast is OK, diversified and tasty. The room is small, clean and with essential facilities. For people who come to know this wonderful city and spend time crossing from one corner to another, this hotel is a good option.
