It was close to the city centre and the hotel was comfortable. The breakfast was good but nothing exceptional. They provided us packed breakfast and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom was smelly and the sofa bed for the kids a bit tight. The breakfast was same every day with hot /cold choice but not exceptional quality.

Nice hotel, in walking distance from the ferry terminal and close to the old downtown.

Terrible sewage smell in the bathroom.

The location was perfect for we could reach the harbour in 5 minutes. The shopping center is in the neighbourhood (10 seconds). Every sightseeing were approuched easily by public transport. The breakfast included the local specialities (black bread, fishes, sausages, special butter) as well besides the usual continental and english breakfast. The breakfast time is very flexible. The bar and restaurant gave good meal opprtunities for the daily eating. The hotel's supplies are very flexible. The location of the room was without a view of the sea but in return it was ok, quiet and the early bright light did not disturb us relaxing.

The bathroom: while it is large, the shower drain was clogged, accumulating water. The shower tub is also disconnected from the wall on one side, leading to water spilling over onto the floor; the floor does not have a drain. Overall, the bathroom/shower room design does not provide sufficient comfort. Construction work is conducted in the area between the hotel and the downtown, making the walk inconvenient (clouds of dust), and taxi rides very long.

less than a ten minute walk from the tram stop. less than a ten minute walk from the old town. a five minute walk to the ferry terminal for our day trip to Helsinki. we stayed in room 630. Too floor with a balcony. the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. the shower was excellent too. great views across the marina to the ferry port. a nice shopping centre with a supermarket quite literally 30 seconds from the hotel. the staff were friendly and helpful. the breakfast each day was amazing. everything you could ever want to eat.

Location is excelent. Room was big, with lovely view over the waterfront. Comfy bed, good pillows. Classic continental breakfast.

Cleaning standarts must be improved- bathroom wasn’t spotless, sticky spots on floor in the room, dirty windows etc

No bottled water in the room which is definitely a big minus for 4 star hotel. The breakfast is poor and too basic.

Location is great, especially if you travel with Tallink via D-terminal. Just a 5 minute walk between terminal and hotel. Seaview from the room was nice, although nothing much to see in the winter time.

Breakfast was ok but the staff started taking food away too early while breakfast time was still on. No fruit left when we needed them. Bed was not good - the mattress was too hard for me. Could not sleep properly.

The room was clean, spacious and modern. The locations was a fairly short walk from the old town and great for catching the ferry over to Helsinki. Breakfast at the hotel was amazing. Fresh salmon each morning was a real treat and the rest of the food on offer was fantastic too.

typical transit hotel next to the ferry dock that will always be fully booked due to its location alone. You pay for the location, certainly not for the worn and dated rooms. Not such great value for money otherwise. Breakfast was nice, same home-made salmon as in all other Hestia properties. Very busy at breakfast, but quite well organized and staff worked hard to handle the crowds.

the roons were really old and worn. I would not have chosen the hotel if I didn't have had an early morning ferry trip, but for that purpose it was ok and the small shopping center next door was convenient
