Owner was so kind and interesting. Heart of old town in a picturesque courtyard lined with craftspeople. Set above a chocolaterie so smelled delicious every day! Close to restaurants (recommend Ruhvik around the corner)!
The apartment we rented had a sleeping loft with a slightly steep ladder. Good practice for stone spiral tower staircases, difficult for some folks. Really cobble courtyard is also challenging-if you have mobility issues this isn’t your place.

Charming gentleman runs the hotel. Getting the keys was very easy and I got some recommendations for what to do. Room is big enough. The beds are quite comfortable
You need to climb some stairs to get to the beds.

Great location and rooms. Medieval house turned modern, bathroom in a medieval chimney - awesome experience and cozy. Apartement had no stove but there was a microwave, tea pot and even coffee for our morning. Staff was excellent.

This upfront: the guesthouse is perfectly located. You just step out of the door and are right in the center of the old town. Everything was clean and overall, it is probably good value for money.
The pictures are highly misleading. The rooms are much smaller than they appear and there is very limited daylight. Also, the communication with the owner proved to be rather complicated. It seems you have to anticipate his preferred style of communication (emails, paper, phone calls) and adjust to them instead of using 2026 standards.

"Posizione a dir poco eccellente; in un palazzo storico all’interno di un cortile caratteristico della Città Vecchia. Gentilezza e disponibilità del proprietario."
