Rebooked having stayed on many previous occasions, as always the staff are extremely friendly, breakfast in the morning is fantastic, the restaurant at Tweedies bar is not to be missed. Will return again.

Friendly staff. Excellent good quality food.
Great location.
Super hot tub.
The pillows were too thick and the radiator didn’t work in the bathroom in mews 2.
Lights not working in bedroom over the bed in mews 2,3,4.

The location was great, the breakfast hearty and delicious, and the Mews cottage was very restful and comfortable. A great escape !

Great location. Good breakfast. Bar has good atmosphere. Nice garden and grounds.
Uncomfortable mattress. Our first room, a Tweedie Suite, had a strange unpleasant smell (also cracked window pane) and after raising this we were moved to another room.
We had stayed maybe 3 or 4 times before and felt this stay was not as good as we’d hoped for.
You also have to go outside to get to the bar now.
No one was in reception on arrival or departure.
