A Victorian hotel with great atmosphere, which we loved. It is just above the Steamer Quay. Very friendly kind staff. Dog-friendly pub with quite a few tail-wagging customers! We were comfortable in our room, which had two views of the lake. The food is exceptionally good, we really enjoyed both our evening meals. Breakfast is very good quality with exceptional bacon and sausages. Would definitely stay again.
Breakfast on the first morning could have been a bit hotter (it might have been bad timing on our part), but it was much better on the second morning.

Breakfast was good value. Location was great, although view from over car park not so great
\room smaller than expected and the bathroom was cramped.
Bathroom was tired and needs updating. Bath was marked and shower leaked
