Oaks Glenelg Plaza Pier Suites

The view, balcony, easy access to car park from our room, big tv and location to shops and restaurants. The fridge was a good size and the heating was great.

The shower water pressure wasn't great and there could have been a handle on the wall to help with getting out of the shower without slipping. Towels were small and quite rough but still did the job. Some information in the room about local eating places, shops, and attractions would have been handy as well as information about the hotel.

Everything ! This is our fave place to stay. Location location location! The staff are always all polite and friendly. The convenience of gym/pool/spa/ sauna, dining on site , great hotel. Options or park view or ocean view. This trip like many was ocean view. Our room was spotless clean. Great amenities in the rooms. Our bed this time round was exceptionally comfortable.

Nothing ! other than the trip coming to an end, just love staying here.

good size rooms

We were disappointed with this suite. There wasn't a whole lot to like unfortunately. Yes, it's right on the beach with a sea view, but that's all you're paying for. In hindsight, the view is not worth the price we paid. The carpet was in good condition; it must have been replaced at some point.

We were told at check in the dishwasher had broken, but we were ok to handwash dishes, that wasn't a biggie for us. However the rag that was supplied as a tea towel was disgusting and should be binned (I did get this replaced). The vinyl chairs for the desk and dining area had rips that were taped up and were only fit for the scrap heap. Get some new chairs! The bathroom in particular was looking very tired; the bath tub stained, old looking wall & floor tiles. My husband noticed blood spots on the duvet inner when he made the bed - surely housekeeping would have seen this! I would not stay here again, it just isn't worth the price we paid.
